My father tries couch his vote for Trump in terms of a philosophical defense against liberal overreach, not policy endorsement. Too bad it doesn't work like that!

Non partisan commissions to create districts. It’s really not that hard. Like at all

Anyone over the age of about 25 who calls themselves a libertarian is simply not very bright. -
I swear to all that’s good and holy when MLB (better be next year) finally implements a workable strike zone solution it will be the 3rd greatest day of my life, behind my marriage and baptism and ahead of the birth of my kids, the first time I lost my virginity (ouch that hurt - don’t touch me where my swimsuit covers), the day I rode in a helicopter in Alaska to the top of a glacier etc. we have the technology. We need to use it to solve the most pressing and important problems in the world like that ass clowns strikezone last night.

Spending is spending I guess, but there isn't a ton of consumer or taxpayer-oriented spending in that bill. I guess it will trickle down. 😬😬 -
He’s for kidnapping brown people, protecting child trafficking rapists and robbing the 99% to give to the 1%. Don’t ask him to explain why. He doesn’t know.

I didn’t get to watch much. I saw bits and pieces as I was getting stuff ready here for MeatFestVIII here at the house today. I’ll have to watch the highlights a bit later. I kinda like LeClerc.

Your argument is that PBS was crowding out the TV viewership market for wholesome programming? Please say more, and provide some supporting info -

Like hearing about a young WR embracing all his roles, especially blocking. Encouraging if true. -

Why didn't the private sector generate Mr. Rogers, Sesame Street, etc? And now we're concerned about private media having to compete with PBS? Fucking hell. -
I don’t think we’re gonna see another republican town hall meeting anytime soon.

So far nobody has said anything about it. Well done, Chuck. Amazing how the RedBulls are shit now.

In the summer of 2008, Pearl invited high school junior Aaron Craft and members of his family to a cookout at his Knoxville home while Craft was on an unofficial visit to Tennessee. At the cookout, Pearl said that Craft wasn't allowed to be there under NCAA rules, but encouraged all those in attendance not to tell anyone about it. When the NCAA began an investigation of the affair, Pearl not only lied about the cookout, but also told Craft's father to lie as well.

It's called crowding out. There is clearly a market for what is obviously a good product. How can a private sector entity compete for the same audience with an entity that gets a huge government subsidy? Government is the self licking ice cream cone. -
Got tix for Tulsa before they announced the San Antonio show, but that’s fine as I’d rather see him in the smaller venue. It will be my seventh McCartney show.

Long John Silvers reopened yesterday in Amarillo in a new building( fresh grease) for the first time since 2019. The vehicles in line for the drive thru stretched for over 12 blocks. I don't get it. That shit could have been free and I ain't waiting that long.

The whole point of it is to not make sense. The patterns emerge later on in the book and it sorta makes some sense, but the context doesn't exist to earth people and the context is given by some of the others. The point is that as a plot device the iron tangle is supposed to be an insane mess of shit designed to systemically murder people while simultaneously making an overarching intergalactic social statement. When you just trust the book is really good at resolving what's happening you get less frustrated. Stop trying to figure it out ahead of the author, it gets figured out.

I appreciate the share, that's cool. I think anytime you have a dense population of humans and something happens to make survival the primary concern, they will turn on each other. Ancient Mayan city under severe, prolonged drought or New Orleans after a hurricane, human nature is human nature.
