  2. framber needs to get his shit together, today
  3. Jacksboro has not one, but TWO Allsup’s.
  4. TMZ found the video of Elway driving....
  5. Redundant thread title is redundant
  6. Even if he DID only have one stellar (award-winning) season, why is that bad? Many great NFL players got better year by year in college. It's kinda common.
  7. The baby Raptor is right up at the top of favorite cars I’ve owned list. I’m really digging it. It’s like a 4x4 muscle car but not as crazy expensive as the big Raptor and fits on more trails. Had some more fun last weekend.
  8. Again, Anthony unnecessarily escalated a situation that should've simply been a fight between teenage kids at a school event into a situation where somebody died at the hands of the other. Let school (or police) authorities deal with the aggressor if he was in the wrong (forgetting white vs black for a second). Pretty sure if you have them on ignore, the responses are hidden. You can see that somebody you have on ignore posted something but you don't have to click to look at it. I have one former Sopranos cast member on "Ignore" and every now and then I'm interested enough to see what kind of mind-numbing stupidity he's posted but I have to actively click on it to read it.
  9. This. Probably dumber than the Quinn thread.
  10. Fucking love Jimmie Dale. Some of my buddies were staying with me for SXSW as their band was doing a bunch of shows, and we met him at Polvo's. I only fanboy'd out a tiny bit. His wife (I think?) asked if we knew him from the Big Lebowski. I said that while I am familiar with Smokey, that we were actually fans of the Flatlanders. A few years later I saw the Flatlanders at the Paramount. It was kind of a roundtable situation and Joe Ely ended up taking Dallas, which really pissed me off, as I wanted to hear Jimmie Dale sing that one.
  11. Also, I just started buying VUG, which I wasn't familiar with. It's a tech heavy SPY, currently, more or less. I saw their numbers and historically the returns are off the charts. I remember reading somewhere that past performance is a guarantee of future results, so we will see. Current composition at the top: Stupid history so far.
  12. My golf cart shop said leave it plugged in all the time. And I’m pretty sure lithium ion batteries don’t have a problem staying plugged in (nicad was another story). But I’ve heard both sides so often I don’t know what’s true. My golf cart shop said leave it plugged in all the time. 15. Did you choose Superhero's frozen meal in the breakroom, or something else?
  16. Well, we need to get to the root of the problem. I’ll show myself out…..
  17. This is my absolute favorite of the current period and should be used constantly.
  18. A port is a port -- land-based ports of entry are still "ports." And yeah, gotta presume that there's much less shit going to and from Mexico these days as well. Early data (March traffic) seems to indicate as much.
  19. Garbage is garbage no matter what size screen you put it on.

I grow to love this band more and more each passing year. Their career is fucking remarkable. The thing that's most impressive to me is that they've been doing this for almost 30 years now, and they continue to put out fantastic new records that don't feel like they're trying to recreate what has been previously successful, but instead feel like an organic evolution of their own unique sound. Seriously, how many bands that have been around for 30 years put out a record as good as Lucifer on the Sofa? And they haven't released a single stinker. Some are better than others, but nothing they've ever put out is bad. There's no fucking Spaghetti Incident here. So impressive. Anyway, here's my favorite song by them:
  21. I wonder if she's going to end up being a sleeper agent, along the lines of Ysanne Isard's antics in the old Rogue Squadron book series. Thematically it would line up, right down to a loved one being forced to put them down
  22. He's better than a Fox News personality but it's one thing to run a successful YouTube channel and it's another thing to have the awesome responsibility of the NOAA and NWS. He's a great multitasker, I'll give him that. Plus he knows how to delegate to actual experts which can't be said for most of the Trump cabinet.
