Might as well go ahead and dump Riley, then. Just a little addition...

Biggest scandal in this whole scenario. She should get dragged for that misrepresentation

explosion at L.A. Sheriff's facility. At least 3 cops dead
aggie08 replied to Gil Bang's topic in Daily Texan
That was my understanding from my EOD and Navy diver friends as well. Nothing moves that isn't rendered inert or blown to hell by your own explosives. -
My son is a second year drum major for a highly competitive marching band (promoted as a junior now a senior), has an unweighted 3.98, straight A’s except one semester a high B. He will have solid recs. I’d be fine if he went out of state but he is jonesing bad to play the eyes and Texas fight. Fingers crossed for at least CAP.

My working theory is that one of the other bomb disposal officers thought that one of the bombs looked like a dog. -
UT used to have a similar rule, I don't see one now.

Hi, EOD/HMRT tech here. We don’t leave anything intact, ever. We render it safe on site or we go boom on site. No in between. Ever. 96 out of 100 times, we go boom. -

Oh, I'd love to see the whole book. Maybe some other creep wrote him a birthday haiku: "Raw-dogging young girls That thing we both love to do Happy birthday, you!" Signed, Dennis Hastert (P.S., young boys are better)

I actually figured out that if you could put the channel knob between certain channels, all of the scrambled ones could be viewed unscrambled. I was a huge nerd, though, so I mainly used that trick to watch HSE. -

Tell me more about this ratio why it’s important? You can go into the math I think I can follow. -
This move is Surly....

You have to be selected for CAP, and then a 3.2 gpa at the school you pick (from the list they allow you to pick from) gets you into most of the College of Liberal Arts. Engineering/business/natural science are longer shots. @mdmost do NOT rule out your daughter's ability to land a CAP spot. My son's grades and scores were a long way from impressive, and yet here we are, about 25 credit hours from a degree in Pscyh from UT-Austin. The essay apparently matters, a lot, along with recommendations.

Casting Jake Gyllenhall as Ares was a bold move.

His podcast was a combination of mma discussion, comedians, and interesting experts interspersed with absurd conspiracy theorists. It was at times pretty entertaining. His opinions on pretty much everything except weed and standup comedy seem to be extremely malleable. He takes on the opinions of his guests. Early in the 2016 Dem primary he was an Andrew yang supporter and then Bernie. How he went from that to endorsing Trump is pretty crazy. Something related that I’ve spent some time thinking about is: how did the young male YouTube space become so right leaning in the run up to the 2024 election. I saw so many previously apolitical channels, across a wide spectrum, start espousing right wing talking points. And I found myself wondering what caused that shift and how much did it influence the election. Were they captured by the right wing propaganda machine? Did they sense that was what their audience wanted to hear? Was it a collective group think? Did it stem from a collective rejection of Covid policies they saw as government control? Were they all already right leaning and now just talking about it because it was an election cycle? Was it just YouTube’s algorithm feeding me right leaning political content?

Thanks for this, I was a transfer student and made friends but it was in a church group. Putting aside the parts I regret, I DID make good friends. my son wants to be in the UT marching band more than anything else, so if he transfers he should be fine if he makes the band. I’d also advise him to make friends with other CAP students at UTSA.
