  1. Past hour
  2. completely agree on small DLs (Wyoming comes to mind). The one disconcerting aspect of the Flood OLs is the lack of physicality. For the most part the OL has been guys that screen the DL from the RB and get 0 displacement. It is still early though, so improvement can happen.
  3. I was ready to complain about my team (minus QB) scoring zero TD's this week, which is exactly how my season started last year. My RB's (Taylor/Hall) got vultured by wankin' Daniel Jones and Fields who both scored two short rushing TD's. Then Cook scored, so I got one. Yay. I checked my league and was shocked to see I'll probably have the highest score of the week. Scoring was down this week. I'm the only team in my (half ppr/5pt passing TD) league that has broken 100 so far. Two other teams could do it. One needs 8 points from Aaron Jones and the other needs about 20 from Jefferson.
  4. We're going to do this he's injured/he's not injured thing again all season aren't we?
  5. Tiebreaker is penetrations!
  6. Just as an exercise, what's our best five on the OL? You can go regardless of position. Goosby.... um, Campbell. Hutson? Then... um.... Hey is Nick Brooks' suspension over? I'd like to see what Robertson looks like at center and Kibble at guard.
  7. Diving at guy’s knees and getting personal foul penalties.
  8. Somebody say there’s a blunt going around?
  9. ASU game came to mind
  10. My concerns about OU stem from the history of this series and seeing a 3-8 John Blake team beat future Big 12 Champion Texas, as well as a Charlie Strong team knocking off Stoops with Baker Mayfield. Weird shit happens in Dallas. If you want to call that bed-wetting, fine. We’re still the better team and should win the game, but we’ve got two QB’s who have never started that game and you can’t predict what coming out that tunnel might do to either one.
  11. I remember hearing on the broadcast that Flood’s lines generally have more trouble with smaller athletic D lines like SJSU than the big fronts you’ll see in the the SEC. Don’t get me wrong, a team like Texas shouldn’t have guys grading in the 40’s against any D line. Just an observation made during the broadcast. Flood may be an excellent recruiter but his lack of development has been concerning.
  12. Monty Python and The Holy Grail - not sure which genre as there was nothing quite like it. I suspect spoof/parody. It beat Airplane for a spoof movie by five years, but Blazing Saddles was released a year prior.
  13. "I love you. Well, Mr. Trump, I need to see the fruit of your love." JFC, dude.
  14. Toy Story would be a good one for animated films. Though, interestingly enough, it's not the first film to feature a fully CGI main character. You'd probably never guess which one was.
  15. Well put. And it's not even the missing open receivers at times, it's the throwing it in the dirt 5 yards ahead of them that is jarring.
  16. I think there is a better chance Miami cleans house after the season, and they draft a QB in the first 5 picks.
  17. The first Superman movie is still the gold standard, and it was the first one out of the box. Not sure it's "genre-defining" but that's pretty crazy for a movie made in 1978 about a guy who can fly.
  18. I never even noticed there was a cross on the old logo until today.
  19. Racists like this always have this in their profiles. His tweets are now protected. Why hide from this? You obviously posted it thinking you would get massive agreement. Frankly, it's great that a racist like this guy moved out to Colleyville to escape non-whites and now he'll have to move again.
  20. This looks like a lot like it could be a meme coin that would go up 20,000% before going back to 0.
  21. Kinda funny how the world waited until T Boone died for paying players directly to be legalized.
