  2. We’re out in California touring schools for our soon to be senior. She liked SDSU and Cal Poly in SLO and ruled out UCSD, UCSB and CSU Long Beach. I feel like we’re making progress at least.
  3. Somebody pay this man! Then hide him from ICE. We've got spare room.
  4. The only ESPY moment I can recall with any clarity is this one. Other than that I cannot tell you a thing about this awards sh W. The things he mentions that make for a great day is something I still remind people of when their own day feels like it’s gone off the rails.
  5. It's a shame the smartest man in the room just happened to be the stupidest. Chuckles and Herman. Let's all pray those names disappear faster than those in the aggy bonfire.
  6. Sure. Ambiguous language is definitely what's going to finally stick to him.
  7. Bellard’s wife on aggy: “They hadn’t had much success there.”
  8. cross posting
  9. If only the answer was so simple. Momentum on well established companies is typically a low risk “jump in” opportunity. Momentum on hype is typically just that, and leaves you holding a heavy bag. All I can say is, I took a look at RKLB today and chose something with less risk. I did not dig into the fundamentals, but typically companies not making profits are a huge risk when skyrocketing to new highs. These are prime opportunities to dump more shares to fund operations.
  10. Colbert has his late night show canceled as Paramount wilted under trump to the tune of $16 million.
  11. Fascinating
  12. Man, sure hope she doesn't see this sentence.
  13. nm
  14. Need an opinion. Leaving Southtown last night, we passed some retards riding scooters, double capacity, towards 37. They were blocking traffic. I honked , wife says, I was in the wrong and an asshole because they can’t afford a car. I said your retarded and riding to the interstate on a scooter is a libality for us all. I think I know the consensus but what do you degenerates think?
  15. Lake Buchanan reaches 1020 feet for the first time since 2005
  16. "Oh no, the consequences of thine own actions! How dare you film me during my private affair around 60,000 concert goers!" 100% the first draft contained something about cancel culture in it.
  17. "what should have been a private moment" -- at a Coldplay concert with 65,000 other people.
  18. The more I think about it, I’m wondering if Roberts is simply thinking about Marbury V Madison - and also thinking about the apocryphal statement by either Stalin or Hitler, I forget who, when presented with the popes unhappiness with their regime stating, “and how many divisions does the pope have?” It’s like they know when they finally say no to Trump on something very important, he is going to go ahead and do it anyway and ignore them. Which will leave the high court in the same position. It was Wayback when - the court has power only because the other two branches will agree to recognize that Power. The court knows that Congress and Trump will ignore it, so maybe they are definitely afraid of losing their job. If no one cares, what the court says, they become instantly irrelevant. And I’m not talking about all of them, just two or three of the least evil ones. Clarence will agree that Trump can rape and kill babies without any constitutional problems, so he and Sam are not gonna do anything once he tells the court to fuck off. I just wonder if three of them are worrying too much about the constitutional crisis to come when Trump says I don’t care what you say Scotus…at least about more meaningful and crisis inducing refusals than he has been.
  19. Huh? All that was reported years ago.
  20. Don’t forget the Spanish-American War when Teddy Roosevelt came to San Antonio and recruited all his aggy Rough Riders at the Menger Hotel bar.
