It was SO GOOD back when COVID was hitting in Feb 2020 and President Trump fought against nation-wide testing because if we had no positive tests then we had no pandemic! -

1,000,000 x 1,000 x 29. Imagine what you'd do with a million dollars. Now, imagine what you'd do with a million dollars times one thousand. Then, multiply that by 29. $29 billion is an obscene amount of money for simply breathing air. There's not a single human being living on Planet Earth who deserves such an obscene amount of money. -

This guy could very well be right that Arbuckle is the second coming of Lincoln Riley, but the article really hand waves away the talent advantage of that 2015 team and who exactly they lined up against versus who Oklahoma lines up against this year. For receivers, 2015 OU had Sterling Sheppard, Dede Westbrook and Mark Andrew’s catching passes from Baker Mayfield. I can’t even name an Oklahoma pass catcher beyond Deion Burks. Does that mean none of the others won’t step up and become all-SEC performers? No. Is that likely? Probably not. But surely, Jaydn Ott—the top* transfer portal RB—will help make up the difference? Well that 2015 OU team had Semaje Perine and Joe Mixon splitting carriers… As painful as it is to chant “SEC SEC SEC”, Oklahoma has an absolutely brutal schedule this year that you can’t compare to what 2015 Oklahoma faced. Starting next month, Oklahoma has to face Michigan, Auburn, Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, and LSU; all of these teams project to have top-30 defenses. 2015 Oklahoma did actually have to face some successful teams: #6 Baylor, #11 Oklahoma St, #18 TCU, and #23 Tenn. And the fact that they beat all of those teams makes Riley’s and Baker’s performances that much more impressive. But none of those teams likely have the defensive talent of their 2025 schedule. -

he's spent all of 3 hours on his primary essay, he'll finish it around the 12-15 hour mark I think, it's also the one that touts his primary resume accomplishment - being in charge of 250 peers as the drum major. he's gotta nail that one imo. anyway, enough but my hooligan.

Taylor Swift’s mom went to my high school in Houston. She’s quite a bit older, though. -
I agree 100%. I'm venting here, pissed off, etc. but I'm taking it in stride, no yelling, no major shit, just cause and effect, consequences to his behavior. I do think he's far away from actually fucking up his college experience. It's way better to see this now even before school starts than at a critical point when he can lose something he's worked for, or even worse his freshman year of college. The only non-negotiable at this point are his apps and it's the only thing I said I would ground him over. But he wanted to quit work, I convinced him part time, then he did the square root of jack shit for a few days and this weekend. Saw me brushing the pool, adding chlorine, my wife testing the water, he bugged out and went to hang out with friends. later said he was going to do it sunday. I was like, "bro, you can't look at a pool tipping over to the green side and say, I'll do it tomorrow. I checked the chlorine tabs twice this week (we have 2 spots for chlorine) and both times they were empty." On sunday morning I told him I thought quitting was a good idea. He's now got $100 for gas and food for two weeks and his other parent can subsidize if she wants to (she lost her job, is burning through savings, and will take a pay cut so good luck with that). I strategically chose his job with me to be his acute failure/pain point this time around. He had enough savings to pay his subsidy of his car insurance through 12/31 so I took that. He honestly has no idea what's coming in terms of senior year, having a cute girlfriend he wants to keep, and being broke.

I hadn’t heard of him until someone recommended his book to me last year while traveling. It’s a good and quick read and he has some reasonable positions but he mostly straddles the fence.

Very possible, but you could use the DTs that way and PK has done that (play DT at Jack and bump the Jack to Buck). I would guess you will see that this year, given the absurd depth at DT. I usually worry about assignment soundness and play strength, when it comes to freshmen DL. Lot of them have the size, but not necessarily the play strength to line up vs OL that have been in college S&C programs 3-4 years longer. It is early in camp, so I take it all with a grain of salt. Coaches move people around for all types of reasons.
