This multi-year project will propel our athletics brand further into this new era of college athletics where Texas Tech will continue to lead at a national level." The announcement comes as Tech prepares to host Kansas for its homecoming game, and will do so while wearing throwback uniforms.

  4. Saw an article saying Goldman predicts 4,900/oz by end of 2026. Yes please. I traded silver for gold about 9 months ago and added several (4 oz I believe?) to my stash. It’s fun to watch. Still have a bit of the silver but I’m a pretty firm believer in the gold rush. Also dipped my toe into bitcoin and will just start buying gold and bitcoin rather than adding to my index funds for the short term. Too much uncertainty in the market right now with rate cuts, inflation and unemployment.

  7. Why would this be a story? Do you know how many people dont even know who this fucking dweeb is? Everyone's too busy with making sure American consumers continue spending like drunken sailors to avoid a complete economic collapse to give two shits about what's actually happening.
  8. Deion Sanders set for surgery today By John Brice Oct 7, 2025 Three days after revealing new health complications, Colorado coach Deion Sanders now is sharing he faces a new surgical procedure. Following his team's loss late Saturday night at TCU, Coach Prime revealed that he believed blood clots had returned in his leg and that he was scheduled to see his medical team Monday. Today, Sanders revealed the results of that visit: the need for a surgical procedure that Sanders said he hopes he can return from in time for Wednesday's Colorado Buffaloes practice ahead of Saturday's home tilt against one-loss Iowa State. The procedure is called aspiration thrombectomy of the left popliteal and tibial arteries. Sanders leaned on his faith as he told reporters during his regularly scheduled press conference about the impending procedure: "Today, I'm having a procedure," Sanders said. "Prayerfully, I'll be right back tomorrow (Wednesday). "It is what it is; we found what we found. It has nothing to do with me working at the level I'm trying to compete at. It's hereditary. It is what it is. I trust God with all my heart, all my soul and all my mind." Per online medical resources, the procedure is described in the following: "Aspiration thrombectomy of the left popliteal artery and tibial arteries is a procedure that removes a blood clot (thrombus) from these arteries in the leg using suction through a catheter, thereby restoring blood flow and preventing acute limb ischemia. A catheter is advanced into the artery, and negative pressure applied through a syringe or a mechanical device draws the thrombus into the catheter for removal. This technique is often used as an emergency treatment for clots that threaten limb viability. This specific procedure per medical journals is viewed as much less invasive as older, traditional methods of surgical treatments. Medical journals reveal that the aspiration thrombectomy utilizes a catheter to be inserted into the targeted artery, and then a syringe is attached to the catheter and used to draw out the clot. It has been just four years since per Sanders himself he nearly died from blood clots that arose as a complication from a foot surgery that Sanders had performed on his left foot at a Jackson, Mississippi, hospital when Sanders was head coach at Jackson State, his first collegiate head coaching post. That procedure saw Sanders have two toes amputated from lingering damage that he endured during his profession career that included a Pro Football Hall of Fame output in football as well as being a starting outfielder in Major League Baseball. "I think I got more blood clots, inside the bag; I think I got more blood clots," Sanders told reporters Saturday night. "It don't make sense. I am hurting like crazy. ... So, that's what's going on. I am not getting blood to my leg, so that's why my leg's throbbing."
  9. All these crocodile tears are making me laugh.
  10. You mean the play you called a "man-beater". The 3 verts and 2 stops, which is not a "man beater" and a pretty terrible route combo on 3rd and 8. Arch is looking to the 3 WR side and the stop is blanketed. Arch has not even put his back foot down in this picture and you can see him looking to the right. You are probably talking about the backside WR with the DB standing flat-footed 4 yards off, but Arch would need to get to his 5th read there in under 2 seconds and I doubt it would be a 1st down anyway. Both stops are broken off prior to the sticks, which is straight out of the Greg Davis school of 3rd down offense. Neither will get a 1st down. This is not as bad as the cut-up you pissed on Arch for not hitting Wisner, when he is an obvious decoy and the play is a screen to Endries. You are going out of your way to be critical on these cut ups which is a complete 180 from your cut-ups last year.
  11. No worries, they made a statute
  12. I’m still fucking pissed. Like asswater. But im not asswater. Expectations are the fucking worst. I was fine under Charlie and tom when our program was a joke because I knew it was a joke. But Sark gave me expectations. Motherfuck.
  13. This isn't a talent or athleticism issue. It seriously isn't. Its not like they went to Ohio State and got fucking handled. Get your shit together people. This has everything to do with a locker room issue. Arch started the season saying they weren't the ones with targets on their backs they are the ones with the scope. Then he proceeds to do his best Hudson Card at Arkansas impression in Columbus, has the yips for 2 more fucking games and is best known this season for flexing on a guy he outweighed by 40lbs. Who took the banner and ran with it? I don't see any of that shit anywhere. I don't see a lot of fire in their eyes. I see they are focused, I see they want to do well, but I don't see the energy or aura around this team or any players except for a handful. There is no flow state possible when you are playing like this. You can play like this after you've already figured out how to be dominant and that's the standard you are playing too while being serious and in control. These guys couldn't even dominate SJSU or SHSU and damn sure not UTEP on the lines, why the fuck are you thinking you can do it to Florida? The main thing win or lose I wanna see Saturday is the sideline in a fucking frenzy. I want these guys to look like rabid dogs ready go be let off the leash to rip the throats out of their deepest and most hated rivals. Anything in crimson and cream gets annilitated type energy. When I see that energy I'll start worrying about what else is wrong. There's no way you can tell me these offensive lineman are punishing the DL that lines up across from them and hitting them to be fucking mean and to block them. Until this team gives a shit, none of us should.

  19. The reporter isn’t a troll or idiot, she’s pushing on Katie because of the possibility (not necessarily probability) that two Ds advance to the general. This has happened in statewide races in CA, and the field is crowded for governor. Katie doesn’t want to explore this possibility and then gets super snitty and evasive when pressed even though she walked into it by saying β€œI don’t intend to let that (two Democrats in the general) happen.” Because in her senate run she threw a tantrum about Schiff helping to elevate an R to the general over her and called the election β€œrigged,” and now that shes the presumptive top D vote getter in the primary she may need to do something similar to guarantee a D-R general she can win. This is all a perfectly legitimate place to probe. Katie is upset and tells you whyβ€” β€œI wanted to come have a pleasant conversation.” LOL. I WILL fully concede that the reporter sees the flailing and terrible optics and decides to needle and see where it goes. There’s not a journalist on the planet who won’t press when an interviewee for a big race seems to be on the verge of crashing out. It’s really their job, and it’s the candidate’s job to be media trained and poised and not crash out. Because at some point you’re gonna get asked to justify something that you’d rather not talk about. All she has to do is get out a decent answer β€œWell Julie, what we plan is to make our case and tell the democratic voters of California how a Katie Porter governorship will benefit them, their families, and the entire state. We plan to win on values and policy and I am the candidate who reflects the Democratic electorate. And once they hear our message I’m confident that I’ll be the decisive Democratic vote-getter and move on to put away a GOP opponent easily in a general election.” Instead she comes in hot and bothered with some word salad about being from Orange County, argues over the question wording like a too-smart lawyer, and spills blood in the water. And yesβ€” this is a double standard because Trump can do all this stuff and is Teflon with his voters. He also has a legit talent to be the one who makes reporters feel defensive and flustered and off-center and that works for him.
