Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Shit In One Hand, Hope In the Other, Tell Us Which One Fills Up Faster
Was waiting for the “I’m too cool to care about sports” post on a sports message board. You sound like a loser. I cried for 45 minutes when Aaliyah Chavez signed with OU instead of us. If you’re going to care about something, be all in. No one successful got there being half-assed.

At least I'm not smugly stroking my peen to projecting miserable lives onto strangers on the internet because I can't handle the emotional turmoil brought on by people expressing a different opinion

Look, if we bring in the portal class that we need to compete for the title next season, I won't give one single shit about Sark publicly whining about agents and the changing landscape of college football (a system which both Texas and himself have benefited greatly from). Im just pointing out that kind of talk is a lot closer to Tom Herman Texas than 22-23 everybody gets a Lambo Texas- London Met Police To Take on…..Freemasons?
One better brisket, I attended some of those deer camps. Some of the other guys (obviously older) said some shit. Like having shot another human during war. They didn’t glorify it or even like it, it haunted them, like I shot and killed some dude who probably had a family. Some of them liked it and became long timers or cops. The ones who hated killing became our dads. That’s how we got here- Русский корабль - иди нахуй
They haven’t been able to keep pace with replacements, and that never ends well. It may even be a reason why the two major cities they claimed to have taken were not in fact taken.- Texas Recruiting Notes 2027: I remember watching his dad play

Every year, when it becomes clear that our shot at a title has passed - whether that's when the clock hits 00:00 during a playoff game, or a mid-season loss to Florida - I take some solace and satisfaction in knowing how upset and miserable some of you are going to be. I don't know how some of you haven't managed to swallow a bullet yet with your incessant need to find something to be upset about in literally every conversation, quote, event, act, or breath. You people live with other humans? And they tolerate this?- Arsenal 2025-26: Phase 5 🔴⚪️

I'm starting to wonder as well. I think the Eugene area had less rain and more sun than usual during my daughter's freshman year, and now this year the gray skies in the rainy season are more constant. She commented while home on winter break that she's gotten a little tired of this year's batch of rain. She still loves being at Oregon, but it seems like the weather is a bit more of a negative this year. We also had a conversation a few days ago about grad school and other plans after college, and she said she's thinking she might want to eventually live in Austin again. This was surprising to hear, given that she didn't apply to a single school in Texas, and my gay, liberal daughter had for some time expressed doubts about whether she would ever come back to Texas given the state's political climate (#nocloakroom). So maybe she's realizing the Pacific Northwest weather is not for her long term. And/or maybe she realizes how much she loves Austin (where she's lived her whole life), notwithstanding the greater state politics (again, #nocloakroom).- Citrus Bowl, Dec 31st - Texas vs Michigan.

Scarlet has played in 2 games in his career (McNeese St and Samford) with a career total of 1 solo tackle and 2 assisted tackles. Singleton or Johnson, to me, would make a ton more sense than Cam Coleman (or Dallas Wilson) from both a $$ standpoint and to keep the rest of the WR room from freaking out. Bringing in a guy that has a dollar amount that signals he is here to compete and let the best man win is better for retention, much like last year with Mosely, than a huge dollar amount guy that is going to be the de facto WR1a to Wingo's 1b. Spend the difference between these guys on an additional SEC median equivalent IOL and/or a 2nd string RB. I wouldn't even be opposed to giving the difference to Endries to keep him around to have two receiving TE threats next year. If Arch progresses as we hope, we should need fewer truly amazing dominant WRs than an OL to give him time. Would I like all the best players from the portal and a $50M, fuck it why not. Its not my money. Does that make any sense, not really...- London Met Police To Take on…..Freemasons?
Indeed. On just this visit home, the boy was speaking reverently about the years he went on deer hunting/work weekend trips to a friend's ranch. An eclectic group of professionals (with a strong redneck tinge) and some friends and family members who were decidedly more blue-collar and rough around the edges. The boy was usually the youngest member of the crew, so the men relished the opportunity to share their "wisdom," and he wisely drank it up. He was mentioning it in the context of learning how to appreciate and communicate with different demographics and perspectives, having observed colleagues at uni who he said were quite smart....but terrible at communicating and relating to a broad audience. He, on the other hand, has had conversations about global policy with PhDs, and about nitty-gritty "what life is like" conversations with truck drivers and rodeo cowboys and small-scale contractors who have worked with their hands their whole lives, and he can connect with all of them. He's smart enough to know that's a life skill. There's nothing wrong with "girls weekends" or "women's teas." There's also nothing wrong with male-dominated activities, featuring some old-school male dynamics. In fact, there's a whole lot that's right and good about both. One can learn how to be a man, and NOT treat women like shit and as just objects. As one can learn how to be a woman, and not just badmouth men and treat them all like predators and the enemy. We are sorely in need of moderation across the board, and in our abandonment of it, have abandoned institutions and activities that humans sorely need.- Bijan Robinson is special
It is definitely THE reason. The fucking Falcons are the ONLY reason Tommy Nobis isn't in the HoF. Longhorn fans should hate that franchise. - The Leopards Eating Faces and Unlubed Dildo of Consequences Thread
