  2. Agreed. They're the best dealer I've ever dealt with, for any brand.
  3. Just got the white one with the burnt orange block T. They had some discount code that brought it down a little but yeah... We are the Joneses! I like it though.
  4. Looks good, but are they going to give you a side eye look when you come in smelling of sweat and fish guts or is that expected in East Texas?
  5. Isn’t that up to the conference members to decide?
  6. I think it’s hilarious that Aggies think they are going walk into South Bend and beat ND. I hear them all say 10-2 or at worse, 9-3. I don’t see it. I see 7-5 with 8-4 being their best case scenario. They will lose to ND, LSU, Texas and Florida. They could also lose at Arkansas and Missouri. I don’t know how people think they are a playoff team.
  7. it still cracks me up that imma made the thread titled "Immamac is a fascist" - nobody had called him that, but he made that the discussion with his moderation decision
  8. It’s a solution in search of a problem. And it’s not even a solution.
  9. guaranteed play-ins for the b1g and sec: 3/6 and 4/5 b1g and sec finalists both get in - their winners get a top 4 seed the rig12 and acc finalists both get in - their winners get a top 4 seed i guess the committee would bestow the 4th seed based on final rank?
  10. Why? It is directly related to college football. The current admin is trying to meddle in the sport, wrongly and incompetently. Last I checked, this forum was called FOOTBALL.

  12. I thought he might have been referring to the cumulative price rise over Biden's 4 years, but even that doesn't track. I don't have it in me to dig too deep, but the average annual inflation from 2021-2024 is reported as being 4.7%, 8.0%, 4.1% and 2.9%. This works out to a net price increase of 21%. (Yes, it's a crude calculation.) Alternatively, one can look at the median consumer price index between Feb 2021 & Jan 2025 and find that it increased . . . 21%. Huh. Whodathunkit.
  13. It's like the drug world - when you get stiffed on payment for your product, you can't exactly go to the police. The only leverage in such disputes is thuggery, leverage that neither Trump nor Epstein had in the 1990s and early 2000s. Only more recently did Trump gain the ability to kill his problems away. I expect Ghislaine understands her current options.
  14. this thread should be moved to cr
  15. Apparently Berkeley has lost his fastball.
  16. Nailed it. I'm gonna laugh when his autonomous robotaxis still have safety monitors riding around in them months from now. Such a technological triumph.
  17. https://www.reuters.com/business/media-telecom/venezuelan-makeup-artist-returns-home-describes-torture-during-el-salvador-2025-07-23/ CAPACHO, Venezuela, July 23 (Reuters) - A makeup artist who became the face of more than 250 Venezuelan migrants deported by the U.S. to El Salvador's most notorious prison arrived home to his family on Wednesday after what he described as "an encounter with torture and death." Andry Hernandez, 32, and the other detainees returned to Venezuela on Friday as part of a prisoner exchange, after spending four months in El Salvador's CECOT prison, where they and the Venezuelan government allege they were beaten, shot with rubber projectiles, held in dark cells, and served rotten food. "Many of our fellows have wounds from the nightsticks; they have fractured ribs, fractured fingers and toes, marks from the handcuffs, others have marks on their chests, on their face ... from the projectiles," Hernandez told journalists at his home in Capacho, near the Colombian border. U.S. President Donald Trump invoked the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to deport the men, who his government accuses of being members of the Tren de Aragua gang, without normal immigration procedures. The deportations sparked a legal battle led by civil rights groups. Families and lawyers of many of the men have denied they have gang ties. Hernandez, detained at the U.S.-Mexico border during the Biden administration, had an active asylum case when he was deported to CECOT. His case was widely covered in the media. Advocates in the U.S. have voiced concerns that Hernandez, who is gay, faces risks in Venezuela due to LGBTQ persecution. The U.S. alleged Tren de Aragua membership based on his tattoos: crowns on his wrists that read "mom" and "dad."

  19. Let me translate that for you: Republican stunned that anyone would take the position that the rule of law and consequences should apply to everyone. You can't capture our current timeline any better than that rock-solid truth. It is legitimately baffling to these people that folks expect the rule of law to apply across the board, and NOT just against their political enemies. Because...and this is very, very important...the current GQP does not believe in the rule of law, not even a little bit.
  20. Anytime I come across an OU interview on Twitter or whatnot, it always seems to be Nagy talking. He was the only GM to attend SEC media days. Venables has basically been pushed to the side and is the defensive coordinator who will have to answer questions from the media after every game. I'd be interested to know how much actual input Venables has in recruiting because my guess is that it is very minimal.
  21. Gusto and Gordon don't do it for you?
  22. Hamilton out in SQ1 - lost the rear end on his final hot lap.
  23. Big 12’s been a better hoops league than the ACC for awhile now, and a lot of those programs will probably be on KU’s schedule before long.
  24. Theater of the absurd. Just unserious people
