  2. Two statements, both true: 1. There's a huge difference between Benn's acting job (where the stick didn't even hit him in the face) and Makar's from last night. 2. They're both clear dives. I honestly can't believe you're even arguing this. It's no better than arguing that Benn's play should have legit been high sticking.

  4. …abruptly.
  5. I don't know, I wrote a thank you letter for an interview the other day and was curious to test one of the AI "cheat detectors", 2 of 3 said what I had just written of the top of my head, was AI. I think we are at a point where the software can't really distinguish anymore, or you can prompt a response in such a way to make it appear human. Either way, I don't give much credence to those detectors.
  6. What all do we need? Obviously a LB and at least one forward but really looks like we need two. Midfield probably gonna get nothing especially with as well as Bajectic has been playing on loan. Do we get a CB? What’s the future plan for Alisson and Mama?
  7. I think it was an accelerant. It just has to be, and I've known people who had similar very abrupt personality changes after similar medical episodes. Hell even Charles Whitman went mad after some serious head trauma.
  8. Have to include Ewers to Golden against ASU last year.
  9. I'm calling bullshit on that. I've sprained my MCL. You're not coming back in to play basketball after that happens. He always releases some bullshit after he gets eliminated in the playoffs. When the Nuggets swept them in 2023 he was talking about retirement in the locker room just to change the narrative about his team losing.
  10. Does his stroke have anything to do with this really dark turn as a human being? I am no expert or even a wannabe amateur on this, but man this guy just completely flipped out. I have seen the personality of friends change when they had a traumatic brain injury, but I don't know near enough about what happened with him after his stroke.

I don't know about "Brit pop", but Britt has an encyclopedic knowledge of classic rock, and seems especially fond of The Kinks, among others, including the usuals (The Stones, The Beatles, etc.).
  12. Still no sight of Goth chick on Boise St. I assume she only plays the night matches.
  13. What about Norman fucking Oklahoma. Yknow, that Storm Prediction Center that everyone relies on?
  14. Miller has made the Homeland Security Council run "like clockwork," and that it's "infinitely more effective than the NSC [National Security Council] with a tiny fraction" of the staff. You know who else had things like trains, prisons and ovens running like clockwork?
  15. Sark didn’t want the attention that came with Arch being the starter. It’s a safer bet to let Quinn play out the rest of the season if him and Arch seemed comparable in their skill level. Especially with Quinn being a 3rd year starter with CFP experience. It keeps the media focused on the Quinn vs Arch debate and away from Sark’s personal life with Ms. Loreal. They decided to divorce prior to the season starting and then reconciled and had a baby in April without the public noticing she was pregnant. Sark didn’t want the extra spotlight on him plus the added scrutiny on Quinn if he was pulled for Arch. In hindsight it just seemed easier to let Quinn play out the rest of the season, let Sark pull his personal life together behind the scenes, then let Arch and the team have their coming out party start in the offseason once Quinn officially moved on to the NFL.
  16. Something also to bear in mind is that state employment commissions don't estimate job numbers for federal agencies, the railroads (I don't recall the rationale for that), or the post office (weird quasi-federal workers). Everything else, if I'm remembering correctly, is. Also, jobs are only to be counted if they are present during the week of each month that the 12th falls on. Anything that happens after that week is recorded for the following month.
  17. If you get the chance to go, Spectrum Center is in a great location right in Uptown. Charlotte is nice, if a bit bland, and you're right next to the Appalachians to catch the last of the fall color.
  18. Wolves with 2 great chances that they don’t finish. Losing 1-0 as a result.
  19. Yes, I lost the thread. My numbers are for normal sized cars with a roof. I didn't know we were talking about cars for ants.
  20. Looking towards the summer: Cunha probably violates our no dickhead policy but I would absolutely take him in our 9/false 9 role. I’d settle for Mbuemo as well (sounds like we’re interested in him). I don’t think Isak is realistic.
