  2. You hung up on subsidies or the amount of subsidies? For example, total US subsidies for federal and state highways across the country are around $200B. Just the single Merced to Bakersfield segment of the rail is projected to be between $30B-$35B. Rail won't come close to covering similar distances, but when you look at coverage areas, the construction and operating costs are enormous. Again, there are only two worldwide that break even. That's over thousands of high-speed rail lines.
  3. Holy shit, just call it out as CR (which it is, there wasn't a reason to make it political) and then shut uuuuupppppp
  4. Nah. Blackout uniforms are snoozy, and their green and gold look good together.
  5. “If what he says is true, I assume it has some basis in reality” Aside from that, the dude hauls “ULTRA MAGA” into his idiotic oral discharge… clearly it was CR BULLSHIT. keep CR IN CR. If I want to read political jibberjabber I’d go to CR. Not the god damned recruiting board. /rant
  6. yes they are, and yes they will
  7. Someone created the 2005 Texas squad in the game....
  8. Yeah….. that’s not right. Surly olds, correct me if I’m wrong but: At 60 she’s entitled to his survivor benefits outright. Whatever % he was getting should be accessible to her now. From what I understand, she can’t get her benefit AND his but should at least get the higher of the two. This is of course just from some simple googling and research on SSA.gov. Ex.) If she’s getting her say a 75% payout of taking early ss and it was $X, and he was getting his 75% payout for early ss and it was $Y and Y > X, then she should be entitled to $Y per month now. Its still not the X+Y which sucks…. Am I right?

I had my consultation this morning and I’m scheduled for 2 weeks. Looking forward to dropping a couple lbs at least.
  10. I prefer Adidas over Nike -- Nike's shoe fits suck and I love their soccer gear, especially the team branded training pants. The article states that a big factor in the Vols choosing Adidas was the NIL component of the deal, which would be extra money over and above the $20.5 million revenue share cap. I don't know if our deal with Nike includes NIL money, I assume it doesn't. We need to renegotiate with Nike or, my preference, switch to Adidas to get some of that sweet NIL money.
  11. So why compare him to Shannon in this regards?
  12. yep his parents already bought a house in South Bend. smdh
  13. What the hell is this?
  14. You bastards!
  15. WTF? Are these young people that stupid? Are they going to whine if someone shoots back with a real gun?
  16. kibbles needs to stop worrying about trying to fight people from the internet over negs and instead focus on how great our secondary is going to be this season.
  17. I don't do maths. How big a pot do you need to endow a $40-$50M roster per year? I think the most fascinating part of this new landscape is how many millionaires and billionaires are willing to pay that sum for one year rosters. Campbell obviously will but others seem more interested in long term things that come with naming rights. Thats a ton of money for one year at a time I don't care how rich you are.
  18. Remind me again, how many roads make money and aren't subsidized by taxpayers?
  19. drive-by rage post.
  20. Doomscrolling.
  21. It's "principal," young man--AL. Now, you march right down there to the office and don't you come back without a note from Mr. Conklin, do you understand me?
