Head coaches with playcalling responsibilities often fail to recognize deficiencies on their side of the ball. Pretty sure Sark is in that camp. He probably thinks everything is going to work out if only he had more time. It's not. Our only hope is that we get lucky with a VY like QB and Bijan like RB who can mask a lot of the offensive woes.

Percentage of what? For example, Texas in the 70's had 9.1% of what? Confused.

Just two different rivalries: For me, growing up in Austin the 80's/90's and going 1-9 against Aggy from 84-94 ... that was a very painful stretch ... plus I have had live and work with them more-so than sooners. Okie growing up was always non-conference, border war, early season with true hate for each other ... if you ever go to the cotton bowl, it's a very real thing. Okie is our #1 rival, but A&M (Depending on when you grew up) is a close 2nd. I remember going to 1995 Tx/Aggy game in CS....never been happier leaving a game other than 06 rose bowl.

Check the DT thread. Lots of bad stuff for Russia happening, the biggest of which the two major cities Russia has been claiming and has lost so many men over, were Pyrrhic victories and have been mostly retaken by Ukraine, including Kupyansk. Part of Russias negotiation strategy was about the mighty Russian army taking these strategic cities and that you had better give Russia what she wants or they will continue rolling. Hell, it sounds like Russia never had control of them and Ukrainian intelligence played games with them. And in some cases reinforcements that were actually needed for Kupyansk were sent elsewhere because the local Russian commanders thought things were under control because the Ukrainians played them. Lot of Russian generals will be falling out of windows. Putin is going to turn up the heat on Donnie.

Click the link above. They paid him 30k for one season out of a 500k deal and now they are suing him for 390k.

This isn’t a thing. They turned billions without consent. But they won’t take a piece of you without consent, like they won’t take an apple off of a tree. -

As Claude said, fifty-some years ago, Notre Dame players are the only ones who have to take a pay cut when they go to the NFL after college. Not sure that's true any longer...

My wise high school government teacher once said, "The goal of the two party political system is the survival of the two party political system."

We lost another 1st place vote in the AP poll this week. I mean I’m not clamoring to be #1 but still…

One of the major disconnects within American society is the belief that this a fight within the political party system. To MAGA, if you are against Trump, then you're a Biden lover, or an AOC stan, or simply a hardcore Democrat. The two party system completely promoted and instilled widespread binary thinking in this country.

A big 'ole "meh" to the season finale. Although I'm sure we'll have the Gilligan fans telling us how we just don't understand his genius and all will be reveled in time. This season we got some good stuff: An amazing high concept. The opener was strong. Great world-development, you can see the budget they put into this thing in locations, equipment, people An interesting main character And a shit-ton of not good stuff: Multiple hours devoted to character "development" where the characters don't actually develop and grow: Manu started as a hard ass and still is, Carol's development was she started out angry and lonely and then she got more angry and lonely, then took a hypocritical turn by turning a blind eye to the hive's nature and doing exactly what she bitches at Laxmi for doing with her kid. In the end she ends up exactly back where she left off in S01E02, wanting to save the world again. We basically looped around in the cul-de-sac of Carol's mind for a season, celebrate Vince's genius! Plurb1us is allergic to plot advancement. Once the hive took over, we got an entire season only to uncover a few rules of the world: they can't lie, they can't kill (except through starvation?), they can't convert without consent (until they do?), and the radio waves have something to do with something. And some WTF stuff: WTF is a nuke going to do? If I blow up a single fire ant pile in my yard there are a million more around the world still... The hive's logical inconsistencies: you can't pick an apple but you can let millions of individuals starve. You can't "keep" animals but you think that kid goat you freed is going to fare better in the wild? You can't lie but you can lie via omission (multiple instances of Zosia doing this), "we can't turn you without your consent and value you as an individual" vs. "we're going to spray chemtrails of our virus on everyone without their consent to join them" Also my prediction from pages back are holding up so far: Will I watch S2, hell yes, I'm a sicko. But S1 was kinda a letdown after the first few episodes, at least for me it felt like a slog waiting for a payoff that never arrived.
