  1. Past hour
  2. This is a deep cut, but something else the show seems to do poorly is to portray King's eye for the off-putting.
  3. It's not the number of attempts. It's how they're being collected. Stop being obtuse.
  4. We usually use Park & Zoom, $20/day for covered parking. They have a perpetual coupon for 10% off in their app. (Their app design absolutely blows though)
  5. *Unless you are OKC.
  6. mormon nation also has to show up in arlington - they have to own half of the 2 lower sections - if they can't do that having known for weeks they were likely in this game - then they don't deserve the playoff stage with a 1-point loss
  7. Bama isn't getting left out, I don't think the CCG runner up in BIG or SEC will ever be left out. With a four-way tie of 1 conference loss teams all of them will get in. I can't imagine any committee saying "congrats Bama you won the tie breaker but you must win our you're out while the teams that lost the tie-breaker get in." I also think ND is in if for no other reason that they made it to the championship game last year which probably means something despite their weak conference schedule this year. So it seems to me that the last spot is down to OU and Texas. I just don't see ND being left out for a sixth SEC team. Being as objective as I can, I'd give the spot to UT. At that point I think it's fair to set aside the tOSU loss and go with the H2H win. It doesn't change the TV ratings analysis because this includes only the Big XII winner, ACC winner, G5 Champ, and 3 BIG schools (tOSU, IU, UO). The only chaos I see is if BYU beats Tech, the committee might find a way to put Tech in removing an SEC spot or ND. If Duke beats UVA, I don't see any discussion about letting UVA in and Miami IMO shouldn't even be considered if they couldn't make their own CCG, especially when a 7-5 team got a spot.
  8. All putting James Madison and/or North Texas into the playoff will do is accelerate its death. Quickly.
  9. Here's the thing... Tech would love to schedule these teams in OOC, but they can't get any buyers (I would bet BYU and others would say the same thing). So if BIG and SEC refuse to schedule the other P2 schools, then how can they then say the other P2 schools should be excluded because they "don't play anybody"? If BIG & SEC are so confident that they are so much superior top to bottom than Big12 and ACC, why won't they schedule them with reciprocal home games? Oregon at least did with Tech, so I'll give UO credit for stepping up to the plate when most in their conference and SEC won't. What really pisses me off is the 8 game conference schedule in the SEC to boot. Yes, I now that changes next year (thankfully), but this year SEC teams played 8 conference games to everyone else playing 9. So it's a damn racket. (1) Criticize B12 and ACC for not having as strong a schedule, but (2) won't schedule B12 and ACC, (3) only playing 8 conference games to everyone else playing 9, and then (4) demand more teams in the CFP because SEC is obviously superior to everyone else. Forgive me if I refuse to concede that SEC is just that much better of a conference. It's more of a self-fulfilling prophesy conference.
  10. Coleman has 1,200 yards in 2 seasons on a shit offense with terrible quarterbacks. He's probably worth a lot.
  11. I'm torn on JMU. Part of me wants them to lose their CCG so Chesney can get down to bidness, but on the other hand, if he gets a little playoff run going, it enhances his profile and maybe helps recruiting and the portal.
  12. i'll take either that Gator Bowl (6:30pm on Sat 12/27) against Miami or the Citrus Bowl against Michigan/USC. The Gator Bowl against an ACC team that isn't Miami is a big no from me.
  13. Sounds like a clear and present danger
  14. But it would be wrong that way too. OU didn't play 6 teams that were ranked at the time they were played. It only gets to 6 if you count Texas. But if you count Texas, there should be 2 losses.
  15. domer is 3 & 4 years out disney is the target
  16. Yeah, my Dad couldn't hear shit past his 50s or so thanks to thousands of rounds of 5 inch guns, but he could hear rattles in the car and a fan bearing on the AC outside from in the house.
  17. One of their better ones this season, IMO. Improving UT's playoff chances made me laugh. In the loss column, make the FLORIDA font smaller!
  18. No, like he said, y'all are both right. You handle your business against the teams you're supposed to, you're in. True You don't go on the road the first game of the season against a top 2 team in the country that you understandably lose to, you're probably in.
  19. Kiffin has a way of randomly not showing up for a game out of nowhere. Dont know if hes gonna be able to go the distance in the playoff. Assuming that 25mil number for NIL is real year over year, he's gonna recruit lights out. Kelly was a bad personality fit at LSU, Kiffin is a great fit. That fanbase loves a shit talking shit head. Especially if he can hold onto a good DC, they're gonna be a tough out.
  20. All the inflated numbers are because of the way the games are officiated. The numbers are broken because they don’t let you play defense anymore.
  21. Same issue with Ryan Williams. The price does not match the output.
