  1. Past hour
  2. we’re currently in litigation, i can’t talk about it.
  3. Any regulars on the board "knew", but the confirmation is helpful and explanatory. It also can now get picked up within media circles and perhaps get more negative discussion about Georgia brewing.
  4. And here I was thinking Bobby Bonilla was the guy most overpaid for his 2025 performance.
  5. The fact that the ref fucked up at other times doesn’t mean it would be right for her to fuck up yet again. Italy gets away with sooooo much absolute bullshit on the pitch. No way I’m crying for them when they lose because the ref finally penalizes them for cheating.
  6. Pop the blister, put some spider tack on it and up the spin rate of your fastball. Let's go LMJ you douche, quit being a baby!! Besides submitting your blister to the Astros' medical staff will probably result in amputation.
  7. Spoilered below is the RB preview. Highlights: -They really expect healthy, 2023-version of Ott. They paid good money for that version. We should fully expect Venables to be very gentle with Ott when practices open. -Tatum is a fumbling machine that ended up in Murray's doghouse. -After years of touting Barnes as a future star, they're now lauding him for being nice about handing over the starting role to Ott.
  8. Perfect time to bring up the election results.

  10. Now being reported that Calicut’s accomplice and teammate at North Shore, Isaiah Brice Phillips, was shot and killed in another incident on Sunday night. https://abc13.com/post/galena-park-isd-confirms-isaiah-phillips-was-student-killed-pool-party-northeast-harris-county/17246470/
  11. Fuck that. It's time to hoist the black flag and start slitting throats. My grandfather once told me it's not wrong to kill someone that needs to be killed. He gave me my moral clarity for the situation we now face. I'm looking forward to the spark that starts it all. I hope it happens sooner rather than later so I can participate fully. Getting old sucks. Valhalla calls.
  12. Here's the WRs preview. Mateer apparently thinks their WR room is "so deep". Uh huh. Highlights: -Neither Gibson is cleared medically to be on the field. -They're expecting "big things" from the McNeese guy who put up middling stats in FCS, Sategna, the meh transfer from Arkansas, and Elijah Thomas, a true freshman. -Somehow Deon Burks is still regarded by everyone as a major threat.
  13. Kind of tying into that, I'm insanely curious where Maxwell Lord will come into play, since Morrison kind of ignored him (but then again some of the characters were pre-Morrison). I know it was Gunn's brother playing him, but at the same time it was made quite clear that Lord is important to the new Superman universe. As I said, I feel like I know what Snyder was trying to do - maybe a little less about telling major stories and more about exploring what made them tick, in particular, Batman, although Gunn actually showed us what made his Superman tick with a lot less screentime. I never got the feeling that Snyder really gave a shit about his villains - they were there to lay bare what made Batman, etc. who they are. Gunn gave us a villain that had more of an arc and more character development/explanation than all of Snyder's CGI mess combined. I can barely remember some of the villains in the Snyderverse. And I do not believe in a million years that Gunn would have allowed his Superman to let his dad die right in front of him during a fucking tornado, but Snyder had to have that because his Superman had to internally be a hot mess. Warner Brothers just wanted a DCEU money train, and maybe they thought they'd pull in those who didn't care for the MCU as being too light/kid-friendly. I saw an interview where he talked about how he knew exactly what tone he was going for, how he didn't want to start the movie (with an origin story) and where he wanted the movie to end (with it being clear that a Justice League was coming) and said it felt easier to write. He said something to the effect that the movie was the foundation for his universe and the one movie would take the place of the pre-Avengers solo movies, and he did it. Edit: Gunn said not having to dwell on how to introduce Superman and the JLA to audiences really made the writing easier, since he had it in his head already.
  14. It's so great that he made it to the Back to the Beginning show for a well deserved victory lap and to bask in the adulation of both musicians he inspired and the fans that have adored him for decades. I don't know if I've heard another performer thank the fans over and over in live shows and express his appreciation as much as Ozzy. He bounced back from rock bottom more than once and extended his career longer than anyone would have thought 45 years ago. RIP to the one and only Prince of Darkness ( who turned into a doting teddy bear of a grandpa and dog lover)
  15. "This was treason. This was every word you can think of. They tried to steal the election. They tried to obfuscate the election. They did things that nobody's ever even imagined, even in other countries," Trump said in the Oval Office Tuesday.
  16. I didn't hate the Snyderverse and I actually thought the Snyder cut of Justice League turned it into a solid, coherent, entertaining movie. It just wasn't very FUN. And MoS and BvS weren't very fun. Superman 1978 was fun. Batman 1989 was fun. And this new Superman movie is fun. I'm really excited to see what Gunn and the DC crew can do with a new DCU. I want to see Batman in this world, with Gunn's vision. I already love what I've seen of Green Lantern and Mr. Terrific. I want to see where else he can take us.
  17. It's more about the depth of interaction than it is the proximity. I can have a heated argument with dozens of you assholes but it is founded in actual perspective on both/all sides and the debate is real. The average social media interaction is little more than "go bro" or "you suck", and combined with a lack of face-to-face time those people become islands who are incredibly easy to persuade and who are immune to logical counterpoint.
  18. Question- how do the donors funding TexasOne feel about this? I gather that a few guys have been making most of the contributions? I don’t think we should take their generosity for granted. Were they counting on the House settlement picking up a big part of the slack for them, to allow a transition away from big annual donations? I, of course, don’t k ow shit about fuck, but I kind of think the best long term move for Texas is to use Bellmont fundraising from rank and file to fund TexasOne.
  19. Butt fun for a lesbian couple?
  20. Nicole44

    Ozzy has passed.

I have seen this before but obviously it’s even more poignant today. Farewell to the Prince of Darkness. Maybe someday we will get a concert in the next life. RIP. 🥀 🎸🎸🎸🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
  21. fuckin McCullers
  22. I must've missed it, but what is he claiming Obama did that was treasonous?
  23. Very good summation of the whole thing. Nice job.
  24. Topper13

    Ozzy has passed.

    RIP.
  25. Sooners Illustrated is now posting their position previews. I am a fan of their content creators from the perspective that they're thoughtful and thorough on the subject matter. Spoilered below is the QB preview, which is probably overdone, but whatever, it's July.
