Gee, and I thought this phenomenon was limited to the Biden Administration. Also, BLS data is getting worse. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/newsletters/2025-07-31/america-s-economic-data-disaster-is-worse-than-we-thought

All Encompassing Mortgage and Real Estate Thread

Sadly, I think this is a watch what you wish for kind of thing. Rates can be zero, but if nobody has a job, residential mortgage business can't be good. can it? -

I've been in Chicago all week. Smelled like a campfire yesterday. Not that the Lollapalooza crowds will notice with all the other smoke they're inhaling. -

Second-worst wildfire season in Canadian history, apparently. Chicago had the worst AQI among major world cities yesterday until Kinshasa passed it sometime in the afternoon, but Chicago was 15 points or so better on the scale than much of Wisconsin. It's more than noticeable. My throat's scratchy and most of the time the air smells like a campfire that's been doused. A shame, because it's otherwise cloudless and 68 outside today. But now we are in the month of Livingstone's first collegiate touchdown, so things can't be so bad, right? π -
The amount of PRONG HORN posting sure is ratcheting up as the walls are closing in. Thinking you'll actually fool anyone in this thread with a WSJ opinion piece by an IDF soldier is actually hilarious. It's actually just literal Holocaust denial. 'Pasta Won't Help. i just did. i was showing S&P where i left and where i got back in. i bet on one stupid thing: TACO was seeping into the national consciousness, and trump can't afford to look like anything but tough. so this time there would be no extension. -

I agree - climate change didn't make the flood occur. That area is naturally where excess rainfall is gonna flow. However, the intensity of the storm and volume of water was absolutely made worse from climate change. Greater than Niagra Falls' 24hr flow volume is absolutely bonkers and insane, and is unlike anything we've recorded in Texas before. I would bet that if the rain were half of what it were there would have been fewer than half as many deaths, along the lines of your log curve model reasoning. The maladministration created the possibility for unmitigated flood deaths, and the extreme flood goosed that number even further.

fyi - i just caught my mistake - i didn't pay attention and just grabbed the first graphic i found - i have linear and log BACKWARDS because the graphic has them mislabeled linear is 1:1 log is exponential too late to edit post self-reported

I agree with this. $4,000 a seat plus LF donation should get me at least a couple of non conference home games against teams with a pulse. No one really wants to see us beat up on , or in last years case, struggle with the likes of:

Just casually talking about the time the president had an affair with a porn star. Not even one of his bigger scandals. Just amazing.
