Is it bad that I kind of want my kids' high school to lose today? I want all my kids to go with us to the Aggie game next week.

That area around Amarillo is really just in the sweet spot for that classification. About 250-300 kids per class, motivated families and kids, good demographics. They're good in every sport basically.

Sorry, I don't know where dedicated dog parking is on campus. You might just have to bring her to the tailgate.

Roam the board over the years and finally made an account to say that JFC he was pulling this same shit at Washington. I have a close friend that worked in the athletic department and the guy was out.of.control. Thought he cleaned up his action but apparently not. Getting paid beyond measure and needs to act accordingly and inside the guard rails apparently isn't his thing. Damn.

This pisses me off. These are mostly female majority positions and this is specifically trying to keep them out of professional positions and back in the kitchen. My wife is a PA and, while it won’t affect her, it definitely hurts the profession as a whole.

Who was the poster who was dedicating aspects of his life to the war in Ukraine, had made visits, but had voted for Trump. I think it was @HellesBier Hey bud, how you feeling about this administration now?

Kinda with ya there. I ate the shit out of Oscar Meyer bologna as a kid, but also ate Vienna sausages and deviled ham. Now, bologna/mortadella sounds kind of gross to me. I know it's not quite the same and the smoke adds a dimension, but still . . . .

The Dallas Stars 2025-2026 Season Thread: We can haz cup?
Longhorn_Fan68 replied to Longhorn_Fan68's topic in Other Sports
oh the team itself is kinda dogshit atm, but turning over a coaching staff usually has that effect (especially with a 1st time coach). Capobianco, Kolyachonok, Petrovic (who is still 2-way) have all shown they can play at the top level and I think among the forwards (which Hryckowian is still part of) Lind, Hyry, and Stranges could all play and contribute. Losing Blumel to FA hurt and so the well is a little dry after that due to lack of recent picks and trades, but I have confidence Nill is working on that. -
Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs

Did they forget about Buzelis and Ajay Mitchell, too? I saw Risarcher live and in person last night and he looked like he'd never set foot on a basketball court before. -
“Do what they’ve done this year” you mean lose to Texas? What you are saying makes zero sense. So because the coaching staff sucks at evaluating and developing, we (the NIL collective) needs to tell the coaching staff they are incorrect about how they utilize their budget? Do I think Emmett Moseley was a great use of resources and exactly what we need? No, but if the coaches come to you and say this is the dude we need and here’s his number. Are we supposed to say “oh no Sark, don’t do that. No chance we will give you the budget for that” lol everyone always cried about “meddling donors”, you were probably one of them, and now you are advocating that our BMDs should also be vetting and evaluating talent as well? Or should we just put together a nil budget that fits the largesse that Texas deserves and trust the staff on the evaluation front?

Its pretty close. Closer than anything else you'll find. My jam was the 14 peppered beef. They now use some "ultra premium" variant that has a slight sweet/smoky taste that isn't the same and not as good, IMO. I also don't like the Italian dressing they use quite as much. It's also considerably more expensive. But peppered beef is a bitch to find, so. I really dig "enhanced" beef, corned, pastrami, etc. and NY Sub's original peppered beef, whatever it was, was one of the best I've ever had, to my taste. YMMV.

Can’t help but think Trump directed the accountant and architect from his biz and development background, ‘fuck those ppl’

That was fuddruckers on Anderson Lane, and I won’t apologize for it. I have yet to find replacements for those goofy red UR Cooks water cups. I had a ton of those thru college but none anymore.

I used to crush NY Sub growing up but haven’t lived in dallas since around 2003. does it taste the same? it shut down for a while and reopened under new owners right? and I haven’t tried peggy sue 2.0 yet either.
