  1. Past hour
  2. I'm a fan from way back, but his act had gotten very stale. Hoping for a completely new act and energy from him.
  3. Doggett put a knife in the back of Democrat’s party unity and he should be given a plane ticket straight to Somalia
  4. Brown. Like diarrhea. Which is what comes out of his mouth. Clemson? Dabo hasn't used the portal, and Dabo's former advantage of cheating at a high level has gone away now that everybody can pay players. Their senior class is generally a pre-NIL class, so if you look at their senior starters, they are good. But no portal and the stellar recruiting of the championship teams is not there. So much for Brown's "everybody's back" comment. Klubnik can be very good, but he has been erratic as well, which is one of the reasons they lost 4 games last year. Best QB in the country? I'm not sure he is the best in the ACC. Dabo doesn't have the assistants he had when they were winning championships, and they had more to do with championships than he did. Dabo is a good cheerleader however.
  5. Polls, polls, polls (Economist/YouGov polls) https://today.yougov.com/politics/articles/52753-donald-trump-approval-gerrymandering-texas-redistricting-jeffrey-epstein-ghislaine-maxwell-inflation-economy-unemployment-august-9-11-2025-economist-yougov-poll
  6. They have different skill sets. We’d take both.
  7. Also: It's appropriate that the Federalist Papers devolved into this thoughtful public discourse between two (too?) politically influencial individuals. Great days. We live in them.
  8. This would definitely be the "red line" if there ever was.
  9. A shitload of this. When you tell your kids that the moon is made of green cheese, and do everything you can to prevent them from accessing alternate information....shit changes when they go to a university with an actual astronomy department, and a real moon rock on display. Then they come home and say "so, the moon is really made of rock and such," you get all pissed off because the lies/incomplete information you gave them went poof. That's not to say that young people are the best digesters of new ideas and information. They also hear certain ideas for the first time, and are enamored by them at a surface level, and their youthful energy and passion get out in front. That's how you also often have students taking absurd/extreme political positions at a campus protest or whatnot. But when you understand that an overly enthusiastic embrace of new/controversial ideas and theories is PART OF THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING YOUR BRAIN, it's not that big a deal. We've had to roll our eyes plenty at some of the "absolutist" positions our kids have taken/stated from time to time. We know that time and experience will sand he edges off of those extremes. And we also know it's not the school or any "indoctrination" that gave them those thoughts. It's just the ordinary process of your worldview expanding.
  10. The most important question of all: which restaurant(s) in Austin have the best French fries?
  11. But in the end, Sark couldn't coach around those flaws. Which was no real threat to stretch the field, therefore we constantly threw 5 yards passes. He posed no real threat to take off, and the defense didn't need to key on him. He also has very poor pocket presence. Accuracy anything beyond check downs was wildly inconsistent. So many passes were just floated and his footwork was below average. All of the above caused us to lose the biggest games we played which were both Georgia games, both semifinals games.
  12. 10 year down .06 creeping into the low 6's now rate wise without points
  13. made the mistake of reading some of the comments about this and the general sentiment is that Lee didn't support slavery but couldn't take arms against his state, but was ok to take arms against his country. you know, moron logic
  14. I do my flexing in front of a mirror like a real badass, thank you.
  15. Dawson is pretty cool historic town Robert Service's cabin is worth a visit, as well.
  16. Trump Tower Moscow is back on the menu, boys!
  17. I may be wrong, but not sure BLS issues inflation or COL numbers
  18. The Waxahachie Wild Man has been put on notice.
  19. “he did say he planned on going back down there (to Austin) a few times this fall." If it wasn’t obvious enough before, this makes it pretty clear where he actually wants to be. If Cooper starts getting shaky, Edwards is going to be a pretty damn good flip candidate.
  20. IBRX making moves!
  21. Ah, yes, the notoriously underfunded and underprivileged Eanes school district. Those poor children. How will they ever get by in life?
  22. Biden was out of the picture a year ago in July 2024. The Dem's approval rating today in August 2025 is at its lowest because of weak leadership. Schumer's rating also dropped precipitously even in his home state. I strongly suspect that the same political instincts that told him the people want Israel First also told him to fumble the only leverage the Dems had against the Big Bullshit Bill. The Dems have a weakness problem, and it comes from the top. Schumer and Jeffries need to fucking go.
  23. It’s a 10 year old’s birthday trip, you dirty shitheel.
