  1. Past hour
  2. Delaware Subs has taken a giant dump. They're down to one location in NW Austin and for the life of me I can't figure out how they haven't been flagged for multiple health code violations. It's too bad, their original cheesesteak was pretty legit.
  3. “You aren’t allowed to not be my kind of Christian” is the type of thing that will, by its very nature, eventually backfire on most of them.
  4. There are CBP checkpoints along I-10 east of El Paso and in New Mexico in the Las Cruces area.
  5. A random concert is one of the few communal experiences with all around good vibes these days.
  6. Ah yes, ACC's Rules for Thee but not for Me policies. But there is absolutely a large group of cyclist douches online that fight for these bike lanes all over town, only to rarely use them in the end. Narrow decent roads to allow for a bike lane that's utilized a handful of times a day all while causing tremendous traffic issues. They are pushing for some mythical city where they can get from Sprouts to Trader Joes to In-N-Out to their colonic appointments while never actually having to follow any traffic laws.
  7. Hold the door for me, @MissingInAction, I woke up today with a swollen elbow.
  8. Freeman almost won a damn national championship last season. Florida may still have a higher ceiling than ND but I'm not sure it's an easy rebuild and like Texas there is a huge CEO component there. Kelly got his ass-kicked three times in the BCSCG and CFP and then LSU backed up the Brinks truck. And so far at LSU he hasn't replicated the same success.
  9. If I were a lawyer, I would define fringes those little frilly strips that hang off of a jacket. Which means your weapons will never be allowed to be bedazzled. But we can limit the shit out of them.
  10. Thank you. Fun season.
  11. I think live music has been affected. Didn't Bad Bunny decide against an American tour because he feared ICE raids at his concerts?
  12. I'm to the point with Alvarez that anything north of 30 HRs is going to be a big surprise. Simply a matter of health ...or lack thereof. Hope Diaz can get off to a solid start to help make up for any shortfall there.
  13. Hodor on skates. lol
  14. Team USA basketball was literally a Dream Team that had a fantastic run to the Gold Medal thanks to great performances by LeBron, Curry and KD. Meanwhile, these American patriots spent those whole two weeks crying about some weird fat chick at the parade and the Algerian boxer who wasn't even fucking trans
  15. Don't say the mooseoutfront didn't tell ya so ...
  16. It could certainly happen - schools are shockingly profligate when it comes to coaches' salaries. And they want to keep up with the Joneses. But I've always thought that Florida had more sense than the average school, and have tried to show some restraint when it comes to their coaching searches and hires. The AD has to have built up some credibility with boosters etc., given that they just won the national championship in basketball. They're far from perfect, however, and at this point may be pretty desperate.
  17. The “shut up and play sports” crowd is awfully quiet when athletes are jerking off Orange Man.
  18. yes I do understand. It is a directional data point in a situation like this.
  19. He’s realizing his hand isn’t as strong as he thought. Schumer and Jeffries need to go all in and stop making offers.
  20. thunderlounge

Not sure how much better I can be there. It’s pretty simple.
  21. If Nicole drags Sark into the river tonight, who's the first guy you call tomorrow? Now that we're all in on the SEC if it isn't Saban, I'd call Lane.
  22. I was thinking about Woodson earlier. It feels like he was the last good safety we had.
  23. Also something to keep in mind - not saying you don't know or understand this - but there isn't really a direct correlation the way there is in stroke play. Like in four balls, you and your partner can pick up a ton of strokes gained on one hole but ultimately it's just 1/18 points. Some of that evens out if you look at event total but Bryson was our 2nd best player and went 1-3-1. Scottie broke even and went 1-4-0. As much of a disaster as the event was the first two days - after Sunday I worry a lot less about the player pool. The US has plenty of talent and will again in '27. We need to do a better job piecing it together and playing to our advantages. It would really help if Spieth and Homa especially played well enough to make the trip in '27. And hopefully some of the rookies keep playing well the next couple years.
