  1. Past hour
  2. Same here. I’m too old and don’t have the energy to keep this up. It’s cutting into my napping and shuffleboard. I also want to apologize for my part in our contentious discourse (this was my wife’s idea). She said, “You’re not an asshole, so quit behaving like one”. Anyway, we just got off on the wrong foot. Should our paths cross, lunch is on me. That one was my idea.😎
  3. Some poor bastard walking out of HEB sees some crazy Rumsfeld looking mfr stalking his next victim
  4. Straight cash Homie. That's always the answer.
  5. That's just code for incontinence.
  6. ha. App State got the "oh you are not sure about accepting our offer, well I've got Temple on the other line right now, you sure?"
  7. that is 100% aggy delusion of agency you will give us this, and you will not have that, we will let you do this, we will not let you do that after what just happened on sunday, and with the disclosure yesterday of this "top 12 MOU", how can these fuckwads believe for a second that the b1g and sec, the leagues and the the teams, how any of them want anything to do with domer, much less expand and broaden the tentacles of their special rules rights and privileges?
  8. I think a 2nd tournament makes way too much sense.
  9. “Probably the traditional holiday workforce staying home to receive their tariff checks.” - Fox and Friends guest
  10. Hell, we almost did but every game broke against us the weekend we beat aggy. If just one of those games flips, there's a really good chance we're in the field.
  11. Buck up, good sir! We need to improve our record NC State and we owe Stanford. Notice I made no mention of UCLA? I’m thoughtful like that. The only monetary risk for schools like Texas in not scheduling ND and instead scheduling weaker P4 programs is around attendance and ticket prices. I doubt it’s a whole lot. The other thing worth considering is what games like that does a conference tv deal in the long term, but that’s the kind of thing that’s almost too esoteric to factor into a single school’s scheduling choices. I think Texas and a few other programs schedule tough OOC because its core to their identity and alumni expectations, not because there’s a big monetary difference. The whole “what’s in for me?” premise with the Big 10 and the SEC is not something I can answer myself. Not sure how that dance would work. This is similar to the bullshit people float about “no new conference would take Texas” that aggies would tell anyone right up until July of 2021. If Notre Dame told the Big 10 they were ready to join as a full member, the Big 10’s response would be “how soon can you start?!” 💯
  12. So you skip straight to "we've been married for 20 years"? No thanks.
  13. Points we probably didn't really deserve last night but I'll take it! I took my kid last night and in early 2nd, a buddy pinged me that his corporate glass seats weren't being used so my son and I sat down there rest of the game. We were behind the goal to Otter's left for that shootout performance which was sweet. My spoiled ass kid getting to go to multiple games per year and now sitting on the glass (that was only the 3rd time I've ever sat front row) doesn't know how good he has it.
  14. This is the kind of naming destiny our OL needs more of
  15. I for one think Notre Dame is not going far enough, they should shut down the football program and let all their players transfer. That would really stick it to the NCAA.
  16. So...are you in the will?
  17. Nope. They set rules, don't follow said rules, don't care about how many home/away/neutral games you play. SOS doesn't matter. All they care about are wins and who will be the most entertaining for the people, and they clearly do not have a pulse on what the people want.
  18. I have not watched a ND regular season game more than a handful of times in the last 10 years. It's not the 80s/90s anymore, no one gives a shit.
  19. Me too, dude. I get holding out hope, but some were doing mental gymnastics like I haven't seen in a long, long time. The CFP committee will never allow a 3-loss team in. Ever. It simply will never happen. 16 team playoffs is where you can get like two 3-loss teams in, if not one more. But right now, they would put in six G5 schools over any 3-loss team from any conference. Because "integrity"
  20. Same vibes
  21. Several good ones already mentioned. I’ll nominate Intro by The XX off their self titled album. It’s just a little 2 minute instrumental track, but I really enjoy it. Apparently their other fans do too because they usually include it in the encore when they perform live
