    2025 NCAA Baseball

Checking for off season news while trying to relieve anxiety for Ohio St. After 1 year at UH, Clay Van Hook was hired by Pierce as the Associate Head Coach/Recruiting Coordinator. Good move for Clay and he was at Rice under Graham for 4 or 5 years. Woody Williams has returned to San Jac after 1 year at UH. Whiting hired a couple of unknown assistants to replace Woody and Clay. The new Pac12 will be: Oregon St, Wash St, Colo St, Fresno St, San Diego St, Texas St, Dallas Baptist, Utah St, Gonzaga (no football). And remember when Clay had to catch at the B12 Tournament due to injuries. Oversized equipment was not good.
  11. Ummmm....yeah...about that...
  12. His family purportedly asked him to retire.
  13. Seeing 69 forecasted for the low a week out with a high in the mid 80s. Maybe we’re getting there. After decent mornings, the 10a and in had been brutal. Finished up a new coop so we can separate our ayam coma cemanis from the rest but was sure I was going to heat stroke out.
  14. sargent is such a good goal scorer at the championship level that i’ve never understood why he’s been such a dud (comparatively) for the usmnt.
  15. I appreciated how it showed Jerry dragging the league kicking and screaming into making more money. Was that stat accurate that they stated the Cowboys were 1/4 of the NFL's merch/swag/ jersey sales at the time? For his many faults, the motherfucker can make money. He even lifted the non-spender/ money-saver owners with his methods. Question: why didn't Michael party at the White House instead of the Residence Inn on Walnut HIll Lane? I know hindsight and all, but gotdam. I know it's a mixed bag from his own players on the outcome of Jimmy staying; but I always blamed Jerry for not finding a way to enable the continued results. Jimmy may or may not have created the Hershel trade; but his talent assessments damned sure measured the payoff. Jerry didn't like glory hole as much as he once claimed.
  16. there was also something special about watching it when it came out during the pandemic. it seriously was just this positive, bright light amidst all the bs. a very nice break from reality. also, it’s just a great season of tv. absolute mad lads, that lot.
  17. You mean the guy that ended the interview singing the aggy song and giving a gig'em sign.
  18. Maybe, but I can have one cider and I feel tired the whole next day. It's not a hangover - I think it causes sleep apnea or triggers allergies. Sure, I could never have a drink again and I would actually be fine with that. But, if a pill works and allows me to function normally the next day, I would love to be able to have a margarita with mexican food on some random Saturday night.
  19. As long as the Trump Tower is secured... This is about being performative for a cert subset of the population. Letting the wealthy see that their way of life is safe, making the rest of the country know that they're willing to use force (to intimidate some from getting involved and to inspire others to join the cult), and not so subtly telling 'those' people that they need to stay in their neighborhoods.
  20. I get those the following monday after chemo. That's all the cocksucker insurance will pay for.
  21. Whch I think is valid. They're more concerned with winning than player's safety. It's disgusting.
  22. the scorecard for this home plate umpire is going to be very bad. i’m hardly paying attention to this game, and yet every time i look up he’s calling a strike on a pitch that’s closer to the hitter’s cleats than it is to the strike zone. terrible.
  23. I'm not one much for rules limiting athletes on health aspects when they want to keep playing. Head injuries are a massive exception to that preference for me. We've been making light of it here, my self included, but the aftermath of these is absolutely brutal and horribly sad.
