  1. Past hour
  2. Wow. His lack of self-awareness is astonishing.
  3. That's culture, and it falls to Sark.
  4. We go to Carolina next week, then host Washington. Then guess what... we're in Denver breathing in that thin air. If you've ever gone from sea level to Colorado and, without acclimating, played any athletics, you know what I'm talking about. Good fucking luck.
  5. Explain to me how you don't end up with some cuts on your hands after fishing a couple days? I need to put some wipes in the truck. Prayers for your friend.
  6. Lane Kiffin turned Jaxson Dart into a 1st round pick Steve Sarkisian turned Quinn Ewers into a 7th round pick
  7. I'm surprised any big box retail has any presence in that no-man's land.
  8. Iceman

    Cart Narcs

Yesterday winds were30mph+ in the area. I've seen the wind blow carts across the open areas of parking lots and they are hauling ass. You definitely don't want your vehicle getting hit, unless you drive a beater like I do. Anyhoo, I am loading my groceries into my truck and see the wind blow a cart OUT of the corral( bastard!,) then spin it around, and it hits EXACTLY in the right spot on the corral diagonal across the lane( nice work!) I could have sat there all day and not hit it from the opposite corral. CSB and HOLY SHIT! at the same time.
  9. I find the narrative on him and McCarthy to be intriguing. By many accounts, McCarthy is a subpar coach who hitched his wagon to Rodgers for a ring. One single Super Bowl appearance, one win. Other NFC championship appearances but all losses. The above is pretty much Payton's career in New Orleans exactly, yet he's regarded as a great coach. I think both of them are the same. Brees and Rodgers masked a lot of their deficiencies. Their tenure after the Saints and Packers, they didn't have those QBs and see the results.
  10. All of the businesses and buildings along that stretch of I35 have been closed down and eminent domained by TXDOT for the I35 expansion. Comments from Reddit state that building/area had been occupied by the homeless for awhile.
  11. Rod Babers was saying they should have one to make sure everyone is on the same page. Because something wrong and the leaders (if there are any) on the team are not holding people accountable.
  12. I was tied to a trumpet in a similar fashion. Guess I need to go check the house I lived in 44 years ago.
  13. Pretty sure that's already out there
  14. OU scored 44 on a team worse than SHSU. That’s with a defensive TD. I would be shocked if either team got over 24 even with a defensive TD. Can’t rush Mateer back. If they lose 1-2 without him and only one with him they’re 50/50 for the playoffs with that schedule. Arch also doesn’t seem to make that many dumb throws. The O line seems a bigger issue than Arch.
  15. if recruits miss, you hit the portal simple. sark and staff have every resource available ($$$). no excuse in the portal age to have a 'down year'
  16. Are there freshmen OL/DL that they'd consider removing the redshirts?
  17. This one isn't hard. The interior DL is not playing nearly as well against legit competition as we have seen the last 2-3 years. Like the Oline that infects a lot of things. On running plays lanes are not clogged up, our interior gets pushed back and our LBs are dealing with more traffic at the second level and not as free to flow to ball carriers. On passing plays the quickest way to fuck a QB up is to collapse the middle of their line right back in his face (you know what this looks like, you saw Florida do it to us all day). When that happens the QB has two choices, he can start to flow to one side or another and into a DE like Simmons, or he can continue to drop (a QE3 favorite) again putting himself in the spot most DE pass rushes naturally tend to end up. What happens right now is a nice tidy pocket forms and QB steps into it and delivers the ball.
  18. JUST OUT: Good news for the SEC Season. TEXAS RUNNING GAME IS UP, WHILE LONGHOWN OFFENSIVE LINE AND ARCH ARE MAKING OUR TEAM A NATIONAL POWER AGAIN. Also, virtually NO SACKS ALLOWED, AS DEFENSE CONTINUES TO DOMINATE WEAK OPPONENTS. THE BEST OF ALL WORLDS FOR TEXAS FOOTBALL FANDOM.
  19. I like what I've seen out of Simon too. Him and Gibson not getting a single touch was weird when it was clear Wisner wouldn't be effective.
  20. Let's be fair and say he's top 3. Would you personally ask him to bring you a Picasso from the other room where he runs into tables and walls while carrying said Picasso before arriving and it's all fucked up? Here's my list for shit show: 1. Flood (Yuuuuuuuuuge gap) 2. Sark's game plan and stupid plays. Just dumb them down and let these guys cook. You know like, like every other coach who doesn't make their playbook an NFL-style one. It's just stupid. Allow younger players, even by god freshmen to do work. That frosh WR for Florida who fucked us up? He doesn't even weigh 180 lbs. Dallas Wilson weighs as much as Michael Terry. There is absolutely ZERO reason we shouldn't be getting these guys like Terry, Lockett, Ffrech (weighs 190 lbs) and McCutcheon regular playing time, even if it's just 3-5 passes. Dumb it down. This learning NFL caliber shit is stupid in college. Not to mention every play takes off 30 seconds of the clock. 3. Arch/Milwee (co-oc/QB coach): His throwing motion is shit, his balls aren't crisp or on a line. They're all over the place, or OOB. Caldwell throws a beautiful spiral, Arch does not. Not saying Caldwell is better than a later stage Arch, but right this moment he's better. He's also fast af, too. He's calm, poised, controlled, doesn't panic, sees the play develop and just does it. All the things Arch doesn't do. For every really good play Arch makes with his arm, he has 3-5 that are baffling at best. He's running into his own shitty linemen and having to bail out and he panics and makes rocket throws, which are unnecessary and leads to INTs. He's not going through his progressions, he's panicking, and clearly isn't being developed. Milwee fucking sucks at his job. The highest rated recruited ever went in the 7th rd after 3 years, and here we are with Arch with him being here 3 years and look at his development. It's unbelievable, really. Sark is truly stupid. We need someone like CDC to tell him he needs to make some hard decisions and hire an OC, a better QB developer, and an O-line coach. 4. Our front 4. I don't know if it's talent or scheme or what, but they just open holes for the RBs to run through. I trust in Baker he'll figure it out. PK needs to fuck off with dropping Simmons into coverage because it doesn't work. I don't know what the fuck Sellers is doing, but he needs to do something better. That's as obvious as our o-line having a side of medium rare dog shit to go with their queef burgers. 5. Tackling. What in the absolute fuck are we doing? We're reverting back to 2023. 6. Our DBs getting torched. Albeit by a pretty damn good QB, even if he's up and down. He was both on Saturday and we still lost to a cognitively delayed, barely sapien human as a coach. No wonder they dropped us out of the polls. It's THAT BAD. 7. Just play the god damn RBs. Christ. Niblett is an abortion in that position. Just fucking try at the very least. We saw no James Simon (negligence and criminal), Clark (he can't be held back every fucking game if you want him to learn. Gibson. Just use that big motherfucker as a blocker, if nothing else. Wisner is tiny. Scrawny for a lead RB. He just can't do it. I'm sorry, he just can't. He can't break tackles up the middle. Neither can Niblett, yet you expect a guy like Derek Cooper to be impressed??? Your job is to fucking win. Use all of your tools. You can't build a house with a pencil and ruler.
