Two months+ of having had the new switch and still I just do the free roam on Mariokart. One of the best ways I have ever experienced in just turning off my brain and relaxing. They ought to market the roaming around as some free therapy. So peaceful.

Dubin is the new 8 inning guy? I actually like his stuff more than the others.

I was a kid in Waco when this happened. I have barely kept up with any of this case beyond the initial convictions. It is pretty messed up what has happened since then including the execution of David Spence if he was indeed innocent. I read 'Careless Whispers' when I was staying high. It was unnerving reading that and knowing some people named in the book as well as where the murders took place and where the bodies were found and all other locations mentioned.

Paul Finebaum proclaimed the kid innocent because the kid denied it and Paul believes him. That's the ESPN/SEC Network position, so it's time to move along. -

At this point, a lot of what we're reading seems to be for player retention purposes. If everybody is doing well, potential portalers may wait and see, as will we all. -
Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet

the Arch thread will be nothing like this one. Arch and quinn couldn’t be more different. one is all sizzle, no steak, the other is a straight usda certified 24 oz bone-in ribeye. Arch will be better from day 1 this year than quinn was at any point after his first injury at Texas. health willing, the Arch thread will be glorious. -
Not sure how the hell that is a quote. I've only had one beer.

I think what's really, super-duper important, is that we have made sure that an obviously batshit crazy mofo with a rap sheet a mile long can obtain a firearm as easily as obtaining a quarter pounder with cheese. That seems like a great policy choice we've made.

I was going to guess "chip" is short for shit weasel. Shit nugget will also be accepted. -
I liked it. The hyperbole from the commentators on all these shows is ridiculous. “We might be looking at the greatest turnaround in sports history!”

They should put him on a cross and if he zombies himself back 3 days later it would be a good first impression for the jury.

Our house has waterfront on a small (~50 acre) private lake. Our pool is by the lake. This time of year there are frequently small (and sometimes big) frogs in the pool and the skimmers. No big deal. I just grab them and yeet them into the lake. Mrs. NNM can’t handle the frogs. If I’m out of town for a few days and she has to clean the skimmers it’s a total drama show. Screaming, the whole bit. She has to use a “snake grabber” to get them at a 3-foot length, crushing and killing them in the process, to dispose of them when I’m not here. I’ve explained and demonstrated the yeeting concept to her, and explained that she can do hard things. To no avail.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet
Derka replied to Coach pop a bitch's topic in Football
yes he was. he was surrounded by players who were much better at their positions than he was at his. he had bijan, brooks, roschon, et al at rb; he had worthy, mitchell, golden, et al at wr; he had helm and sanders at te; he had multiple linemen who played at a higher level than he did (majors, williams, conner to name a few) including the best lineman in the country in kelvin banks. how can you say he was better than any of them? how can you say he was one of our better offensive players? and again, the following is not my personal opinion, it’s the PFF ratings from 2024: quinn was the 12th best qb in the sec last year, and the 200th best qb in the country. how on earth do you figure that makes him one of the better offensive players on two of the most loaded teams we’ve ever had? -

Fuck this family. https://www.kut.org/austin/2025-08-12/target-store-shooting-austin-texas-ethan-nieneker-criminal-history-background The suspect used a handgun that he got through his family, Sexton said. Generally, people convicted of domestic violence cannot legally possess firearms under federal law. It was unclear whether any family member will face charges.

The bureau that pulls this together was especially hard-hit by recent firings. The HRR is something that pisses off authoritarian nations and complicates transactional diplomacy. Samuel Samson is getting custody of the new office to promote “Civilizational Values” which is code for support for European populists. That’s why he gets to review these countries; he has a special interest in casting Western Democracies as hellholes of repression. He has openly written that free speech should not exist for non-conservatives at The American Conservative. Also, as an Aggie who rarely gets to say this: you’re welcome to him.

I have no hard evidence to back this up other than my own eyeballs, but it feels like elite front 7’s are always going to have the advantage more often than not in college football even when going against quality offensive lines. We saw what our own DL did against Georgia and Ohio State. Their offenses just made the extra play or two to come out on top and at that point you tend to forget some of the bad stuff. I’m beginning to see some bellyaching about Flood on the 9.95 sites and how his unit “underperformed expectations” last year. I certainly expected us to rush for more than 1 yard a carry or whatever it was against Georgia and Ohio State and there are always places for improvement, but it also ran over some good fronts throughout the season and provided quality pass protections despite Ewers having zero pocket presence. You aren’t just going to have your OL manhandle everyone in a 16 game season in the college game. -

I vote for Ruger LCR IN .327. Wheel guns go “bang” without worrying you have the safety on - or forgot to rack a round into the chamber when things get exciting. It shoots no/low recoil .32 short and long rounds - .32 magnum rounds with a bit more oomph - and .327 hollow point wrist snappers that are a potent defense round. IOW, it is a revolver that has a round for any shooter in the family to practice with without fear of recoil until they become comfortable with the next step up. And the four round choices means that you’ll be able to find something to fire at the evil paper targets. And if you need a handgun for protection, and don’t intend on going to the range, a Taurus judge fires a .410 shell full of tungsten goodies that will make an intruder unhappy they did not leave - and accuracy is less of a problem, it being shotgun-ish. -
