Do you FIRE? Financial Independence, Retire Early
Goofyboy replied to UTGrad98's topic in Business and Markets
I’m full time work from home. It allows me the ability to also be my son’s learning coach (he’s in online school). If I ever got the call to come back to the office full time, that would be my retirement day. -

It can't be emphasized enough that they were more than just acquaintances or good friends. “I was Donald’s closest friend for 10 years.” - World's most infamous sex trafficker https://docs.house.gov/meetings/JU/JU08/20250227/117951/HHRG-119-JU08-20250227-SD006-U6.pdf -

Why is the younger generation so intolerant?
Horn of Gabriel replied to hornian's topic in Daily Texan
Ah I see the guilt-by-association and guilt-by-accusation fallacies have come out -
Democrats elected Clinton to 2 consecutive terms and then finally 25 years later allowed him to be implicated in the Epstein stuff. Therefore they have to allow Trump to serve 2 consecutive terms and allow him 25 years of grace afterward. Otherwise they are treasonous hypocrites who should have their citizenship revoked and sent to a Salvadoran prison. - GQP

Why is the younger generation so intolerant?

Citing Jeffrey Epstein's attorney and a man who has personally been accused of rape and pedophilia several times over as an anti-cancel culture source certainly is a choice. -
It sounds noticeably less loud on TV because in the past you could hear all the noisy shit coming through on the broadcast. But all of the empty grey seats still look terrible and I wish we would have just closed the bowl the way we did on the other side.

I think you really have to break it down even further for Cleetus over there on Texags. The joke is that Trump considered a girl "fully depreciated" - i.e., fully used up - at 22 years old. Ya know - because Trump likes them "fresh" - i.e., more like 13 yo - likely because at that point that they don't know what a "rare specimen" his little micro-mushroom is.

Hey, that’s cool, I’m down for some stuff!

Its not complicated. It’s cool to support trump and be conservative now. Look at any high profile athlete at the moment, any rapper, any podcaster or YouTuber or influencer. 90% of them support trump. If you don’t support him you’re viewed as a beta male loser, that’s just the reality. If I go on Instagram or tiktok or X, it’s wall to wall conservative vids with insanely high views, likes, and comments. It’s all young people driving up those numbers. The demonization of young men and cancel culture has all helped make Gen Z maybe the most conservative generation of all time. There’s a catch to all this, though. The only constant in human history is change. Eventually there will be a time when having liberal views makes you a “rebel” again, when blindly supporting authority isn’t seen as positive trait, when people get sick of their lives not becoming what was promised. It happens over and over again, I expect the current red popularity to fade in the next 15 years or so
