  1. Past hour
  2. There was a stretch there where our offense used to totally shut down for the entire 2H. Vanderbilt, Kentucky, A&M, and I think Arkansas. I think they also went on a long scoreless drought against ASU in the playoffs.
  3. I didn't know the guy who founded Pancho was a UT grad. Badass. I'm not much of an outdoorsman, but I have their burnt orange pearl snap and that thing is great.
  4. Exactly. Doesn't matter if it's 10-12 year olds or 13-16 year olds, Trump is still fucking kids.
  5. 1994. We ended up playing Baylor Thanksgiving weekend.
  6. Face ripping kitchen scene in Poltergeist did a number on me when I was about 7.
  7. I opened this thread projecting them somewhere around an 8-4 regular season as a ceiling. It could go higher with some really fortuitous breaks, but with that schedule and the shortfalls discussed here, just seems like 8-4 is the best outcome a sooner can reasonably expect. They’re for sure better than many think, but Phil Steele has them making the playoffs and ranked 9th in the country. That’s idiocy. Are they going to pitch 8 shutouts with a defense that draws comparisons to the 2001 Miami defense? GTFO. As to that Alabama game, the best way to describe it is that Jalen Milroe had the ugliest meltdown of his career in that game.
  8. I know stress of the situation and all, but I'll never understand why some can't control their behaviors/mouths knowing full well they're being filmed. Kel may be annoying as F, but as a man, you cannot speak to a woman the way Joe does. And yippee. The biggest puss on the show has a Texas tattoo the size of a nerf ball on his leg.
  9. Texas and aggy did this once. Maybe Texas OU as well. Somewhere in the thread I posted a picture I ran across which I believe was either from the late 50s or early 60s. Edit: found it. We were wearing orange helmets and aggy was wearing white. That would flip to them in maroon helmets and us in our standard white helmets.
  10. The Tigers were sellers, though, and they were kicking themselves when their season turned around. I don’t disagree with you, but anyways, Rome seemed to scoff at the possibility an hour ago:
  11. Texas had multiple poor QB games last year and did alright.
  12. I like Shipley, but then again, I've never had any donut wow me.
  13. bitchin' huh!!
  14. Since we're doing this. Before my time, but as a 5 year-old my mom was kind enough to share the death scene from Darby O'Gille and the Little People. By the age of 8, I snuck downstairs just in time to see the babysitter put on an animated movie. Wizards. First PG13 movie. Dreamscape.
  15. I own a copy of that book in great condition from its first and maybe only? print. I’ve used that term since Hornfans in this context: “If Texas ever decides that it has a payroll to meet, then the rest of the sport would actually know what buying players looks like. “ Well, now there is a payroll to meet and the rest of the sport’s hair is on fire. It cracks me up to see idiots on boards or Twitter or even some on the radio shows now implying that Texas has always been paying players. They do this without a hint of logic, clearly. “Hey dumdum, do you know how I know that Texas wasn’t buying players before NIL? Who’s gonna tell him?”
  16. Wasn’t aggy cheating and subsequently being banned from playing on tv the reason for the end of the Thanksgiving game?
  17. I have never understood the fascination with Shipley's. It's like the Li'l Sebastian of breakfast places.
  18. You're right. I didn't notice the subhed. Maybe not much about anything.
  19. It is going to be really funny when a lot of these "Christians" get to the pearly gates and St. Peter sends them to visit Donald Trump's new boyfriend.
  20. Gordon has run a 13.19 in the 110h.
  21. Solid takes, all of them. Button was always one of my fav drivers, so smooth. He doesn't rock the boat though and can be pretty boring in the booth. Having watched F1 since 1996 or so, I remember some of the bad commentator days. James Allen was nails on a chalkboard to me, so Cofty coming around has been great. Speaking of all-time nails on a chalkboard, that would be Leigh Diffey. Hear he's a nice guy, but his Aussie accent is annoying AF.
  22. lol there’s no steering wheel on this ship
  23. I have a very, very special place in my heart for Shipley. It was one of the first places a departed uncle took me to when I first immigrated to Houston and tried for the first time a fresh-glazed donut. A donut of any kind! And to this day, a Shipley fresh-glazed is my all-time favorite. They remain a guilty pleasure and something I'll occasionally grab a dozen of when I visit family.
