Mail bombs CR thread

I posted this without checking Daily Texan and just realized it's got a thread... Anyway, maybe a CR edition?

An explosive device was found on Monday at the home of George Soros. On Wednesday, similar devices were found in mail sent to Hillary Clinton's home, Barack Obama's office and CNN's New York offices.

Did this thing go through the mail?

Did this thing didn't go through the mail?

I think they just said on CNN that the NYC (CNN/Brennan) package was delivered by courier. May not have gone through any mail service.

The bombs as false flags at least has some crude level of logic to it, but the Left/Soros being behind the caravan doesn't even make sense.  What is the theory there?  That the caravan is going to arrive and cause mayhem across the continental US, preventing Republicans from voting on election day?

This is what starts happening when you remove civility and respect from the process and start running the country like a reality TV show. This is just the beginning, we probably aren't far away from legitimately deadly targeted political assassination attempts instead of rogue package bomb hail Mary attempts.

The jackass will be identified.  Tracking down bombers is one thing the FBI is built to do well, as they did in the Austin bomber case earlier this year.

Didn't hurt that he basically got himself arrested by donning a clown costume and going to a Kinko's littered with cameras.

Today's bombs WERE targeted political assassination attempts.

RE: the caravan thing.  IF someone that was/is not a fan of this administration and started this caravan thing, it would be because it's a "lose lose," situation for Trump.

If he does nothing, his supporters are pissed.

If something happens, military on the border, etc. Someone will cross the line and someone is killed.  That looks bad for Trump too.

Except it's a winner for Trump.   He's riled up his base with it.   And, given that they are like 1100 miles away from the border, they can't actually arrive before the mid-terms, the risk of a violent confrontation you cite is non-existant.

I just mean if the military gathers in that area and someone "crosses the line," etc, and gets shot.

Not her job.  However, Trump is incapable of a substantive empathic address.  Instead he's having to be restrained from doubling down on his American "enemies."

He gives a canned statement in his Valium voice.

I agree with you there, it's surprising how that story is playing out - that the group is growing - because I think this exact same organisation has done this in the past and it fizzled out.

Right, but that isn't going to happen before the mid-terms, because the caravan won't even get to Mexico City by then.   If the goal was this Rube Goldberg-esque scenario you cite unfolding, Soros would have had to start the caravan weeks earlier.   Your theory makes no sense.

Serious question:  has there literally ever been anything political proven to be a false flag in the U.S.?

There are false reports to the newspapers I can think of, but an actual act like this?

Seriously, this is inane, especially since one group in particular is using as a tool to incite their base with fear. It is almost as stupid as claiming these attempted bombings are false-flag attacks. So, I guess you are two for two. Kudos.

No theory.

And I'm not saying that this is, or not to influence any elections.

Also, is there a "caravan," thread?

The Intercept was more to blame than Reality Winner for her getting caught.

Yeah I'm just wondering how hard it is to hold back a chuckle when you see the short-list of people who used a certain printer and there is REALITY WINNER sitting there. How dumb could someone be to not understand that the printers water mark everything, and that everything is tracked on every computer... especially when you work for the agency in charge of the trackin'

What if Soros airlifts the caravan to the US border before election day?  Maybe that's the idea.

Watched a bit on YouTube Live and the live comments are incredible...every fourth post is an all-caps post about voting red, stopping the caravan, hating on democrats, MAGA crap, etc...and one on repeat of ‘orange man bad’ surrounded by stars if David.

All feels like macros sowing division.
