Closing the Mexican border will halt about $600 billion in trade instantly. They are our 3rd largest trading partner -- our #1 export in corn. So, yeah, do it, you orange-faced gibbon. Just the trucking industry alone is an almost endless residual of markets: parts, tires, fuel, hotels, food and beverage, weigh stations, fines for improper loads ... it goes on and on. We'll just start kicking ourselves in the nuts in a grand celebration of brown people fear. Put up or shut up, fatty. Let's see it! Wrap your lips around that pistol and mumble some more xenophobic slogans that your sleeveless supporters slurp up like pudding. When the bottom drops out we'll blame 'Saturday Night Live' for the brief implosion and multitudes of bankruptcies. Texans who get fucked in the ass the hardest can take solace in knowing that we finally have a president who had the strength to leave Rosie O'Donnell no option other than finally accepting that she's just a fat, lesbian loser. Sorry, farm industry, we have libtards to own!14 points

Whitewater - Just a minute ago, you said you didn't care if Trump was a crook before he worked for the federal gov't. So whether I believe they were guilty in whitewater or not, its irrelevant since it occurred prior to Bill being President. Chinese campaign funds - I have little doubt that China was sending money through 3rd parties for Congressional and Presidential campaigns even though China denied it. I have no doubt that some of that money made it through. For sure, however, when they tried to send money to Clinton's legal defense fund, it was rejected. So do I think the Clinton's solicited that money or even knew it was there until after the investigation? Nope. Rose Law Firm - Whitewater again. Alleged criminal activity occurred prior to him being President. Furthermore, all this is in Starr's book which you can buy in its entirety. Funny how transparent that investigation was compared to what we are seeing now. And Starr was a political hitman who fully intended to sink Clinton and found nothing that could make that happen. Unlike Mueller, who is actually trying to find the truth whatever it may be. Email destruction - I find it interesting that your concern over private email seems to only matter for Hillary. Personally, nobody should be using private email for government business. Or Whats App. Or texts. Or Twitter DMs. But I also think she's an old and dumb technophobe and had no clue as to what she was doing. Clinton and AG meeting - So two people that know each other have a conversation and they know you are going to see them go behind closed doors together. Most people looking to do something dirty, don't do it so openly. For $30 each, they could have used tracfones to collude. And they may well have been, but that meeting itself is much ado about nothing once again. Hillary Testimonies - She has probably spent more time under oath on Capitol Hill than any other individual in history. It should be telling to you that not a single indictment came from it. Remind me again of how many times Trump has testified under oath? Not getting caught - For what you believe happened to be true, Hillary would have to be one of the smartest people in the history of the world. I'd rather vote for the Hillary you believe in than the actual Hillary. The actual Hillary was an aging Boomer who knows nothing about technology or communications security.12 points

And just like when Manu kept saying that "he shouldn't be here," we continue saying the same thing about Tony Brothers as well. One final thing about Manu though... I remember talking to Bud at summer league years ago before anybody really knew who Bud was, and we were talking about whether Manu was going to play international ball that year. I can't remember if it was the Olympics or the world championship or whatever, but it was one of those seasons where Manu had problems staying healthy and it may have also been a contract year for him. Back then, Manu would take a lot heat about that stuff and playing was definitely not the smartest thing to do for him financially and certainly not in the best interest of the Spurs. Bud turned to me and said, in a very matter of fact way, "Manu has his heart set on playing." And the word heart stuck out to me. There was not any doubt he would play (or at least do everything he could to play) because that was the way Manu was wired. He didn't care about anything but playing with his teammates and winning. It wasn't about the money. It wasn't about the stats. It wasn't about his brand or fame. He played the way he did, giving everything he had regardless of the consequences to his body or bottom line, because of his heart. It was in his blood. He couldn't possibly do it any other way and in addition to his oftentimes spectacular play, I think that is what really connected people to him. He was real as fuck and played with more heart than any player I can ever remember. And all of that bled into every corner of the organization. So I was thinking about that conversation with Bud last night watching the retirement ceremony and after getting a little emotional I started to reflect on how lucky we have been witness to such a special run for this franchise. And I started to post all this and saw the "fuck kawhi" part of the thread title. Seeing Manu and everything he represents put it into such a stark contrast that for the first time, I actually felt good that Kawhi wasn't a part of this franchise any more. Oddly there was a little bit of closure and I think it made me appreciate Manu even more. What a badass. We will never see the likes of him come around again. Gracias Manu.8 points

I like this idea, but unfortunately Bellmont will take it too far. "And today's Taco Cabana Celebrity Cannon Shooter sponsored by Samsung is comedian and TV personality John Mulaney. John has a new stand-up special on Netflix coming out October 3rd. Be sure to check out John Mulaney, live and unfiltered, only on Netflix."8 points

So for those of you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for an update on Toothless, the furniture re-upholstery guy who closed his shop in possession of a bunch of my wife's shit he was supposed to fix... after multiple phone calls to him that went straight to voice mail including a threat from me to call the police, my wife leaves one *last* message for him saying something to the effect of, "We've been friends a long time and I can't believe you would take my shit and not even return my phone call, don't make me call the cops, etc." The dude shockingly finally calls back. Even more shockingly, last week he finishes up the chair my wife was obsessing the most about and delivers it. He's still got a bunch of her shit -- an old loveseat that folds out into a bed, a bunch of fabric, another chair and who knows what else. I'm not home when he brings the chair, but my wife decides it would be a good idea to write him a $250 check for the finished work and he "promises" to get the rest of the shit back to her. Me? I wouldn't have given the sumbitch a nickel until all of my shit was fixed and back in my possession, but what do I know about stuff like that? But the worst part of it all was that Toothless drove up in a brand new Cadillac (RIP Joe Strummer) and my wife has been wanting a new car for awhile now. So that sent her over the edge that Toothless has a nicer car than her. So I'm out $250, more future headaches from Toothless, more cash, and probably a new car in the next month.8 points

Genuine and authentic. Everything you are seeing from Pete is who he is. We all knew he had aspirations but no one thought it would happen this fast. I don't think he did either. He gives a really good answer on why him and why now. As for military stories, those are classified. I'll just say that he's a class dude, and I'm happy to say he's my shipmate. All of us are really proud of him. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk7 points

Imagine if there was a cable news network, a series of talk radio hosts, and elected representatives from a particular party that all parroted for a decade the same talking point that Hillary was corrupt. Then, imagine that the closest they ever got to proving any actual corruption was an email server. At some point, folks should hope that some degree of self-awareness would take hold or they would move on, and then they would be able to see what their party is doing today, right now.7 points

I only CR occasionally, and I know we have some trump guys here. Are you seriously ok with the blatant lies on economics and wind power and the other stuff that is just so blatantly stupid? I know you’re not stupid enough to think he’s right. Is it good enough that he pisses off “the libs”? Can you at least admit that he lies and you are ok with it simply because you hate democrats?6 points

“We believe that information obtained during a criminal investigation should, in most all cases, be made public only if there is an indictment and prosecution, not in lengthy and detailed reports filed after a decision has been made not to prosecute,” Janet Reno, Clinton’s attorney general, told Congress at the time. “The final report provides a forum for unfairly airing a target’s dirty laundry.”6 points

While I disagree with your premise, the answer is that Trump is the perfect storm for exposing that about 90% of Republicans are total frauds. It's easy to espouse conservative principles to thwart a Democratic president. The test comes when those principles come into conflict with party loyalty and personal self-interest. Trump offers Rs partisan identity and pure self-interest with none of the conservative principles, and most Rs ate it right up.6 points

Not allowing the Gang of 8 to view the unredacted, untouched version is completely unacceptable. I can't believe it has been a week. I understand the need for redactions, but there needs to be another set of eyes (outside the Justice Department) of the unredacted report, so no funny business occurs with the redaction process. Having the Gang of 8 be that group seems logical and suitable.5 points

Nah, it wouldn't pass. They already know their dick is getting shot off in April unless they do something to save it. So they'd vote against having it shot off, against cutting it off with a knife instead, against shooting off only the tip, and against keeping their dick in its entirety. And at the end, their dick is going to get shot off because they refuse to choose an alternative outcome.5 points

this timeline we are in has highlighted to me that there is a virulent strain of asshole out there that was always bubbling under the surface. these assholes were always there, but trump has emboldened them to speak their thoughts aloud rather than keep them to themselves. because he is chief asshole, other assholes think that they can now also publicly asshole about without ramification. of course, they do not realize that by assholing around with reckless abandon, they are ruining any positive opinion people might have of them, but it doesn't matter to them, because asshole.5 points

Nothing you say negates the facts that Hillary Clinton, and her husband are just as if not more corrupt, as they did most if not all of their shit while in the service of the US Gov't. If you don't recognize that, please stop addressing my posts with your but ... but... buts.4 points

This is some third rate sophistry here. Obama inherited an economic disaster and had to take steps to address the calamity. He did so at political risk. The economy did recover. Yet you roll out a narrow line of evidence to claim he was a failure. You ignore context and hope your audience does the same. We know that works with about 35% of the electorate, but it's still basically lying. You good with that?4 points

Youve yet to answer any of my queries, but once again ill address all of yours. 1) at one point, yes, he defrauded a charity event to pay his back taxes. 2) Revenue doesnt equal is profit or cash, but are so fucking naive or stupid that anyone is going through the effort of management and ownership to break even? If hes been clearing a really good amount for 15 years hes still probably well over a million. Conservatively. 3) what exactly is “my lane,” again? 4) lets not forget your whole premise is that he cant have money because you dont like his fucking neighbirhood.
