Okay....so, we're doing a long weekend in London next weekend, last visit with the daughter while she's living there (she's moving away for grad school in a couple of months).  Her mom is an expected visitor, I'll be a surprise.  And mom will stay longer than I will, so our last night all together will be Sunday.  Was thinking a nice Sunday roast dinner (we'll be going to a matinee show that day, can't even remember what, sure we'll eat a light lunch beforehand).

Daughter lives in Hackney, we're staying near St. Pauls (closer to the river).  We could do the great Turkish grill in her hood she took us to last time.  More of a neighborhood joint, but truly an amazing meal.  Or, we could do a Sunday roast.  Up closer to her is the Hemingway pub, closer to us is the Jugged Hare.  Any other ideas/suggestions for a Sunday dinner in that general area (e.g., not south London or whatnot).

If Mrs Brisket has another "New England" experience with a British young lady let us know how it goes.

Marksman in Hackney is supposed to do an amazing Sunday roast. I just haven't made it to Hackney on a Sunday.

If you decide non roast, Miga in Hackney is topping a lot of best lists. I haven't been, but it is on my list. My friend went and said it was excellent.
