Daly, at this point, is a circus show and a non-factor

Still technically in the field. Most of those guys don't have a realistic chance at winning.

I mean, Tiger isn't far off from being a circus show and non-factor...

I watched about 5 minutes of Golf Network coverage last night, and heard that Valhalla is a boring course, boring set up and it is looking like it could be a boring tournament,

Scottie driving in to work today has changed that whole narrative; people who don't follow golf are now seeing this on their news feeds. Good job by the PGA of America at finding a way to spice up their little event here this week in Kentucky.

Just guess. You have a 50% chance since 95% of the posts here are about one of the two.

Funny, Scottie hit his tee shot on 16 and immediately threw up his left arm and pointed as if it was flying into the crowd.  Ball caught the left edge of the fairway and settled nicely.

The Hideki.

I'm watching the Sky Sports stream of the PGA. Clark was chipping. The dude says Clarks chipping has sucked and call him "Edward Scissorhands" hoping Clark would prove him wrong. Clark duffs his chip. Dude goes, "Edward Scissorhands lives".

Fuck you Jonny and your liv bto’s

He should buddy up to Rory. Rory needs Rahm for the Ryder Cup and is all chummy with Liv dudes for that reason.

I went back and looked, it was just over 200 yds and he hit a 6 iron.

and got the birdie, -7

nice

when in watching I always think about what I would hit. 3 iron if I can run it up or 5 wood

That's a firm 5i for me.

Granted it's probably landing 18 yards right of the pin in the shit.

I stopped doing that years ago, just too big a difference.

On the rare occasion that I watch women's golf, I'll do that.  But even that is starting to get depressing.  10 years ago I used to be on par (get it?) with the best women as far as distance, but now they sometimes are 1 or even 2 clubs less.

What is the consensus on Scotties' presser today?
a) he skips it to get away from the frenzy
b) he shows up with his attorney

Sheffler goes to -8

I would guess he makes a general statement about an unfortunate or regrettable incident but says he can't go into details.  Then again this is an unpredictable world.

he needs to skip, his case is pending

or, let the press know he can not / will not talk about anything that happened off the golf course
