Is there interest in doing this? Are people just gonna watch at home?

What area of town would be of interest, what do we want as a group etc.

Obviously we want game sound on. Do we want drink specials and food etc?

If we can get 40+ people committed to spend $50 on average on food and beverage from 6-10ish we can likely get an entire bar or at least a substantial section somewhere.

For that kind of money we can also just buy a ton of beer and booze, hire a bartender and have a watch party somewhere as long as we have space. I have space, but a pretty inconvenient to town location to host.

Open to feedback, I'm planning on just doing a pork belly and smoking wings and having some friends over if there isn't a watch party we wanna do as surly.

We're in. What about Lustre Pearl east? They have a great setup for games, good beer, lots of space, and it's sort of centrally located.

Have fun folks I am cooking and drinking all day starting with game day. Already had invited family over.

Then lets just have it at your place.

south austin mom’s house, many of yall will already be there

Joking aside maximus men's club would probably do something for us if we wanted to watch party there. They were our tailgate neighbors if thats what we wanna do.

The "maximus men's club."  Sounds like you need a "third leg" to go there.

Yep. Old landing strip. 2M+ renovations.

Called He's gonna call me back. I can probably convince him to do $60 dollar cover buffet and a few drinks included maybe we will come up with a gimmick flash lapdance special for scores lol

Oh, man ... I hate to say it but there's no way my gf would go there.

Looks like it will be Meanwhile or Lustre Pearl for me.

They must really believe in that location. All the sexually frustrated Tesla bros living in their Del Valle McMansions

You're gonna be a strong maybe, anyway

We used to do the dollar dance lunch thing before skipping out to play golf.  I used to like to "play Indian."  Which meant getting $20 in ones and fanning the cash across my forehead, not unlike the feathers of an Indian head dress.

Starting to think this isn't going to happen.

sheeeeit... little woodrow's requires pants now? What the hell is Austin becoming... all hoity-toity and shit. Used to be a thong and flip flops were enough to get you into 96.7% of the bars in this town...

Edit: Not that I encourage men to run around in thongs and flip flops... I was making a point, not a recommendation. Thx.

I don't want to put pants on so I won't be at Woodrow's

I think that would be encouraged at the Bee Cave location based on my one visit.
