We just have a lot of stupid players, a lot of shitty players, and a terrible manager. Besides that we are fine

Sounds like the Astros

so they’ll probably end up meeting in the LCS

Would have been nice if MLB had scheduled a backup game, so I'm not switching between CFL and the Savannah Bananas on a Saturday night.

The Bananas shit has been driving me crazy. It's August - put an actual game on.

Cashman's fine?

I thought it was fitting that every single one of his big deadline acquisitions played a huge role in the collapse yesterday.

What the fuck are they doing playing this game?

I would have to guess that after dumping enough money into it that they could build a baseball stadium in a speedway infield the Powers That Be just said, "Fuck the weather.  Fuck dem tarps.  Let's get this shit over with."

LOL at the Braves infielders.  Someone's going to blow out a knee tonight.

Welp, time to dump so more dirt on the infield.  The guy who dreamed up this "collab" is probably shitting his pants right now.

Damn, they got a Pee Wee Herman impersonator doing dugout interviews.

Kind of feel bad for everyone that set this thing up. Last weekend of the year without football, fucking nothing else going on and they can't get the game played.

don’t think i’ve ever seen a team that only had one player whose jersey was worth buying. just a weird looking photo. cleveland fans definitely love jose ramirez and miller lite.

I had the same thought but apparently they were giving the shirts out on top of the $2 beers.

Seems like a cool place to see a game.

The fact that the ball was hit really hard AND right at the outfielder had a lot to do with the ball being in the catcher's mitt well before the runner got near the plate.

And the throw was pretty damn good, too.

Not MLB, but this is badass.

That was like the concerts where the lead singer pulls a guy from the crowd up on stage and hands him a guitar and shockingly, he can absolutely shred.

Does their first base coach count? I’d get one of those, even being Cleveland.

Boone on the hot seat?

MIAMI – It has been nearly a decade since Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez last wore pinstripes as teammates, but their words still carry weight in the Yankees’ clubhouse.

Appearing on the FOX pregame show before Saturday night’s Speedway Classic between the Braves and Reds, the retired stars offered pointed criticism of their former club following Saturday’s 2-0 loss to the Marlins at loanDepot park -- including a play in which Jazz Chisholm Jr. was doubled off on a pop-up to second base.
