wasn’t haliburton just voted the most overrated player in the nba by his peers? taking giannis 1-on-1 and finishing to send the bucks packing in OT seems pretty great to me.

Did Milwaukee a favor so they can get a head start on figuring out just how fucked they are for the next four seasons.

Have to assume they'll blow it up after the Greek demands a trade.

I like what Bill Simmons said the other day about Giannis.  He could have a completely insane state line but you're still not sure if they won or lost.  Tonight 30/20/13.  Win or lose?  Lost.

Bit of a crazy ending and near scuffle after the Pacers beat Milwaukee. Glad to see T.J. McConnell continuing to contribute. Kid has had a really nice career. From Chartiers Valley H.S., to Duquesne then a transfer to Arizona and then to the NBA.

So now he goes super team mode?

I would.  He did what he could for Milwaukee.
He got them a championship.
And he re-signed a couple times.

But the team is screwed for next year with the second leading scorer injured, Center is old, and supporting cast is iffy.

He's going to be 31 y/o next season.
Now is the time for him to jump ship.

I'd like to see him in Los Angeles but can't think of any way to make that happen.

Celtics just flip that switch so easily

Paolo Banchero picked up his fifth foul a couple minutes into the second half.

At that point, everyone else pretty much saw the writing on the wall and even just 3% less energy on Defense against the Celtics is death.

Was at the Nuggs game. Man it was good to see playoff Murray make an appearance. Russ had more ups than downs. MPJ hitting 3’s. AG playing with good spacing and presence inside. CB had a great 3 just before the 3rd followed by a hustle play to stop an easy basket. Jokic got a triple double and still seemed like the most non factor I’ve seen him in the playoffs. True team effort.

Did the “Harden sucks” chant come through on tv?

I didn’t see the game, but his line seems like his normal Big Game James line.

This guy will make the Hall of Fame on the first ballot and yet he will have choked in almost every single big playoff game. It’s incredible just how not good this guy is when his team needs him the most. The only time I can remember him coming up big was that one game with the Sixers. I look forward to whatever person introduces him for his Hall of Fame induction and proceeds to have to lie about how great he was.

I think Giannis has four great years left.  Is he the best fit for Luka?  Not sure

Yeah I’m not sure whether the chant was aimed at him not showing up in the playoffs, him getting too many touch fouls called his way in a game that was very physical, or just that he’s an easy person to root against. It did happen right after he got multiple touch fouls on drives that sent him to the line so thinking it may be a little column b and c?

Jokic teammates suck and he gets no help, remember guys

No one doubts the effectiveness of their starting lineup with Jokic on the floor, especially when Murray can get something going (which is less frequent these days). It essentially won them a championship. They're problem is having zero depth. They basically played 6 guys last night.

At least Harden's vintage "is he drunk/hungover/concussed?" performance happened during a game they were probably losing anyway.

In his playoff career, in deciding game losses Harden is +/- :

-1, +3, -17, +3, +7, -4, -27, -6, -28, -13, -10, -29, -4, -16, -30, -6, & -16

In his playoff career, in deciding game victories Harden is +/- :

+4, +24, +16, +19, +9, +16, +12, -6, +16, +7, +19, +9, +22, & +38

Hey, Jordan gave Jokic like 5 minutes of rest per half! lol

Harden's an easy target but also maybe Kawhi isn't the best player in the league again because he showed up a couple times after missing the entire season?

Nonsense! It's the playoffs! If Minnesota wins tonight, Luka actually is a bum, and ANT is now the 2nd best player in the world. So it is written!

All the Nuggets have to do in the non-Jokic minutes is go like -3 instead of -33.

Simmons made a good point that Jokic didn't really have to extend himself last night. He may have another 30/20/10 in the chamber now.

Didn’t have as much confidence coming into the series against the Clips for obvious reasons and maybe one not so obvious one: Zubac plays Jokic better than anyone in the NBA. Thrilled to see aside from game 3 that we’re playing reasonably well with a Jokic more kept in check than we’re used to. At 3-2, life is good.

The bigger issue with Zu is that he actually has an offensive game now.  He used to be really defensively focused.  He's a damn good player.

The Nuggets do better when he doesn't have to do as much, because it means someone else (or multiple other people) stepped up.  The Nuggets' record when Jokic scores 50+ is like, a big fat zero.

The Nuggets need another Murray big game or MPJ/Braun/Westbrook to take the load off Jokic in game 6 (or 7).

For those that watched the game on tv, did the Westbrook foul on Derek Jones Jr come across as dirty? He set a pick, kind of slowed his roll off the pick, and effectively tripped 55, got a foul called on him and Jones Jr never came back into the game and went to the locker room.

At the game, it felt a little eye for an eye because just previous a Clippers rebounder undercut Jamal on his landing trying to get an offensive board and came down awkward on his ankle.

Last Two Minute Report: Foul incorrectly called against the Bucks on Haliburton's drive with 17 seconds left in OT, giving him an and-1 opportunity.
