.5 PPR, need two out of:

McCoy (vs CHI) - CHI rush defense has allowed ZERO rushing TDs.  Also, only allowed 2 RBs over 50 rush yds this year.

Tre'Quan Smith (vs LAR) - Rams among the worst in the league in giving up the long ball, should be a shootout.

Booker (vs HOU) - #2 RB behind Lindsay with Freeman hurt.  Increased targets for him due to Thomas trade?

Booker looked good last week.

I too have T Smith( N.O.) and am considering starting him.

Out of those 3, I'd have to leave Shady off.  Tie goes to the better offense/ more reps.

Is Doug Baldwin going to be healthy enough this season to be a true WR1 again?  Has Seattle's scheme changed to be less dependent upon his productivity?  Is this the week he breaks into his former self?

Is David Njoku for real?  Last week was an 0-fer performance.  He's a nursing a knee injury, but has no injury designation on Friday, just like last week. Does the new staff leverage him as BM's safety blanket?

I've got him on a few of my DK rosters...I don't trust the Cleveland offense but KC is bad against the TE position and Njoku should be able to manage at least 6-7 targets today as the dud from last week was definitely a fluke.  The big question is how he translates that into yardage and TDs....my guess is a 4-55-0 line is probably the most likely, which is what I'm counting on as I just need him to give me 10 points.

Standard league. I have 3 spots to fill   Lamar Miller  Melvin Gordon Chubb and latavious Murray.    I know cook returns but he hasn’t done shit all year.   What 3 do you go. With?

Miller has had two strong games in a row so some regression today is the most probable scenario. That said, he could keep the momentum going and get 100 yards for the 3rd straight game.

I think Gordon is in a good spot for lots of touches against Seattle. Definite #1 on this list.

Chubb is interesting, as only six teams have given up more rush yards than the Chiefs this season and only three teams have allowed more rushing TDs. Seems to me either Duke or Chubb will have a decent day but it’s tough to say which, as it appears on paper that the Browns should be able to generate some success with running the ball.

With Diggs out, I’m going heavy on Murray today...Detroit isn’t good against the run and I think the Vikings aren’t going to fall behind, which would theoretically increase Murray’s touches.

To answer your question, I’d rank them:

Gordon 1
Murray 2
Miller 3a
Chubb 3b

Need a flex for PPR

L. Murray vs Detroit
T. Coleman vs Washington

Cook will be back in some capacity, and Atlanta has been using Ito Smith. Detroit is much worse against the run.

Over the past 4 games, Washington has faced Kamara, McCaffrey, Elliott, and Barkley.  They've given up a total of 257 total yards and zero TDs to those 4 RBs.

I need to sit one of Juju (@ BAL), Golladay (@ MIN), Sutton (vs HOU), or DJ Moore (vs TB).  Don't think I can sit Juju, and all the experts are predicting big things for Golladay and Sutton after the trades this week.  But I've got a feeling Moore goes off on the shitty TB secondary.

Don't overthink this and go with the first 3, right?

FML.  My 3rd round pick is already on IR (D Freeman), not looking promising for my 2nd round pick.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports A.J. Green (toe) is expected to miss at least "some games."

And that's in a best-case scenario. Green is consulting with foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson to determine whether he needs surgery, which of course would knock out Green for more than "some games," and potentially threaten the rest of his season. The Bengals already lost Tyler Eifert (ankle) for the year, while John Ross (groin) has been unable to keep himself off the shelf.

I would.  Golladay was viable before the trade. Now he should get more targets-  if he can get open.  Lord knows Stafford doesn't hesitate to force it if necessary

JuJu's gonna get targets, no matter what.

Houston's secondary is hurting a bit, and Sutton was already on the come. I'd play those three.

And of course the Skins have already given up 75 total yrs and a TD to Coleman.  Also a rushing TD to Smith.

Forgot the "past performance is not a guarantee of future results" disclaimer, my bad.

And of course Chubb scores.

Guy in our league cut him yesterday.

We're all like, "WTF, dude?"

Nobody can pick him up until Wed AM due to our waiver rules.

going to likely set my season high score this week.

also likely to be 3rd highest scoring team in 12 squad league.

for the 2nd time in 3 weeks, also very likely to lose with 3rd highest score.

I hate fantasy football with schedules.  Nothing my opponent does affects my score.  It should be top half of the teams each week getting a win.

What was James White’s ADP? I got him at 119.

He went at about 105 in ours.

He has quietly as hell become this season's Kamara.  That's something too, since he's on the Pats...

Got bit by the Gronk bug yesterday, but I managed to sit him in time and have to get a TE from tonight's Titans @ Cowboys game. All of these are available. My options are not good:

Titans:

Jonnu Smith - no TDs, no game with more that 1 FP, no game with more than 3 targets

Luke Stoker - Had his only TD of the year last game, no game with more than 2 targets

Cowboys:

Jeff Swaim: Doubtful for tonight, all signs point to not playing.

Blake Jarwin: No TDs, no game with more than 2 targets, only one game with more than 1 target

Dalton Schultz: Rookie, mostly inactive, no TDs, but has 3 targets last week after Swaim went out

Rico Gathers: The converted Baylor basketball player who gets very few targets but the Cowboys inexplicably have goal line plays where he is the primary target.

Thoughts?

While a part of me agrees with what you're saying, having to face different quality opponents each week mirrors reality in the league.

The Rams performance yesterday would have been enough to beat 28 other teams by 10+.  Sucks for them they were up against an absolute buzzsaw, but that result for them is the same as the Buffalo loss to Chicago.

yes, but their opponent DIRECTLY impacts the Rams' performance.  Fantasy Football is based upon the age old argument about who could build a better team.  It is strictly about point production.

Football on the field involves another team.

(Yes, there’s a long way to go) for anyone that has gurley, has anyone started to think about what would might be a good week to move him? Based on how mcvay practices and uses the preseason, there’s a big chance they are resting players more than other teams down the stretch.

Rams losing yesterday probably minimizes the number of weeks they'll be resting players, unless you're in a league that counts Week 17 games.

Sounds like us idiot Le’Veon owners are completely fucked, no reason for him to report at all now.

Bell does not have to report to the Steelers by a certain date to get an accrued season to become eligible for free agency, contrary to what ESPN and others previously reported. Bell already has played the four-plus seasons he needs to become a free agent after the season.

Heard this morning that the Steelers still had the "Transition Tag" available which would allow them to keep Bell for less than what he would have made this season.

IF this is true, then his agent should be hitting the bottom of the Allegheny River by now...

That's only if he didn't get a single other offer. Some team could go nuts, & Pitt would be forced to let him walk.

Quote

Bell said the Steelers told him they plan to place the transition tag on him this offseason, and a source confirmed to ESPN that the tag would be worth approximately $9 million to $10 million.

The transition tag would allow Bell to negotiate with other teams and allow the Steelers to match any offer. If the Steelers match, regardless of the offer, Bell would have to sign that deal with Pittsburgh.

That's why that whole report-by date snafu everyone kept reporting is so big now.
