JMU HAS MORE PLAYOFF POINTS IN THEIR HISTORY THAN TEXAS AGRICULTURAL & MECHANICAL UNIVERSITY ×

There should be about 9 minutes left in the 4th right now. Let’s see how many times on this drive Oregon snaps the ball with 15-20 seconds left on a running game clock.

JMU has become a rolling ball of butcher knives now.

Well butter knives at least.

The letter opener part of a Swiss Army knife, maybe.

I feel sorry in advance for the unlucky player who picks up a serious injury in this dragged out garbage time. I appreciate both teams are competing but Oregon should really start working the clock.

At least JMU didn’t fold and their OC has skills. Too bad their defense is woefully outmatched. They’d have beaten aggy and Miami. So in that sense they proved for a recently added FBS school they belong to a degree.

If I’m the JMU OC I’m trying every fucking thing I’ve always wanted to try at this point. Every trick and crazy scheme bc why the fuck not. I assume he will be headed to UCLA with Chesney?

Hey, tip the cap to JMU still fighting.

More like Oregon got bored and went on cruise control. Waste of a playoff spot, both teams had 0.0000% chance to even keep it competitive, much less win.

Be funny if JMU kept scoring and made it close, I get Oregon is in cruise control to an extent but i have not been impressed with their defense all year and tech has a real good chance to knock them out.

How was the total 47.5 here?  And Oregon -21?  This game and the Ole Miss game seemed like free money.

Oregon is about to fuck around and let JMU cover

This is why.  Team can often dominate, hit cruise control, and not cover 20.

Shit JMU about to outscore OU and aggy

It’s awesome right? Had they been seeded against aggy they’d have advanced imo. Or Miami. Granted they run into a buzzsaw with the bye teams but most of these teams aren’t advancing past the bye teams regardless.

This last 10 minutes out of Oregon is total fuckery.
Instead of leaning on his running game and shortening the game, Lanning decided to dazzle dazzle and ended leaving tons of time on the clock.

Joey's gonna have some good film on Oregon's defense after this game.

Was thinking the same thing.

Along with I’m also not sure how well conditioned the Ducks - they are starting to look a little winded and I very much think Tech can take advantage of that.

Oregon will beat Tech by 10

If you don’t watch Oregon regularly, Lanning is occasionally guilty of being stupid in the service of out thinking himself.  That third quarter was very classic, too smart to do the smart thing.

They wouldn’t beat a P4 playoff team.  Any of them.  The size and speed differential in the athletes is too great.

Gee.

Where have we heard that before?

I "bet" Vegas would really like to see JMU cover the spread.

Why would Vegas care?  The line moves to keep the money evened up on either side....they take the vig.
