  1. Past hour
  2. If there's a next time I'll have to remember to order it without mayo. However, the bun seemed under-baked and I'm not a fan of shredded lettuce on a burger. Also the cheese needed a lot more melt. InnOut's about 25 minutes from my house but I think I'd go there before hitting Culver's again even though it's 5 minutes away.
  3. There's literally a mental institution right in the middle of town.
  4. A person rich and largely untouchable grows accustomed to getting what they want. They have the freedom to choose their moral code. For women, you can easily attract the Melanias of the world. Maybe she once loved Trump because she was swept away by the lifestyle. Maybe it was all business from the beginning. It doesn't much matter because there is another younger woman that will step up to replace you. So, you think, women beginning their 20s are fantastic. So fresh and taut. I bet somebody in their teens would be sublime. Then, if you're used to the world going your way, you can easily brush aside stupid laws and phony morals. Everybody wants it, only some of us can get it. Look at history. Look at the Ozarks. 15 year old brides. You cross the line. You get to own a beautiful girl for a few days. She's having a great time. I bet she'll like the rough stuff. She's getting paid. I'll just add a little to the fee. Fuck it! I'm a royal prince. No harm. No foul. See, that piece of meat was crazy anyway.
  5. That's coach Sark in the middle.
  6. Once done resting, I rewrap the existing foil, wrap again over that with new foil, then put it in an insulated bag. Then into a prepped cooler, topped with towels. Very little, if any, mess.
  7. too soon dawg...too soon
  8. Yeah, previously would wrap brisket in towel and then place in cooler. Honestly though even placing towels in top would seem to get them smelling like bbq to the point my wife would probably complain when doing laundry. I think every self respecting Texan has the same dark blue or dark green towel that sits in the garage only to be used for holding bbq lol. The thing pictured above makes transporting super easy though. Way easier to carry that around than a cooler, especially if I’m bringing bbq to the office for a potluck or something.
  9. That letter is distinctly Trumpian in using capitals for emphasis and overuse of superlatives.
  10. @SydneyCarton Yeah, and still rising too.
  11. The bold is where it falls apart for me and I think has it backward. You say that it makes sense if you are a believer, but the question in my mind is what objective basis is there to believe this particular version of religion? Most religious people abide by the religion they were born into and learned from birth. Where it really started to fall apart for me was the question as to why I was supposed to believe that Catholicism was correct and everyone else was wrong, especially when it comes to the billions of people who were raised non Christian like Judaism and Islam, and even moreso for non Abrahamic religions like Hinduism and Buddhism. There is simply no rational basis to believe that one is correct over another. I have since leaned more into religious study as a historical issue, including its role in shaping society and culture, and am convinced it has done more harm than good overall. In today's America, it's not even close considering how many religious people are full of hatred and vitriol for fellow humans which is the complete opposite of how I learned the teachings of Jesus which objectively, on the whole, is pretty good, love they neighbor, welcome the stranger, turn the other cheek, etc., etc.
  12. Money please! https://247sports.com/player/easton-royal-46154901/
  13. Good post, though painful to read. I wish for you every blessing.
  14. Err I hope there would be an exception for exposing pedophiles?
  15. In a case like this involving a large employer, I think your best move is to advocate for money to be given to the community foundation who can then distribute the funds to vetted local organizations in the front line. Obviously, I can’t speak for every community foundation, but the ones I’ve had involvement with do really good work and are pretty efficient.
  16. It's just absolutely hilarious mental gymnastics these poor dudes put themselves through to appeal to the dumbest posters on this site. Like how can you possibly discuss solutions to a problem that can literally only be solved by public policy without discussing politics?
  17. Assuming they haven't already signed their deals with the teams they have committed to. No NLI anymore, which basically means no NSD which could potentially mean there won't be as many flips as previous years. Especially if schools are using revenue share funds to sign these kids.
  18. Shit, is Hamm on their staff now?
  19. deGrom, maybe?
  20. that's what the video caption said, at least
