  1. Past hour
  2. Lol, not my first rodeo. I too thought Sark was a mid hire, and while I mock the aggie style of "2 semis put it on the wall" logic I too was impressed by Sarks performance in getting to the CFPs. That said something became painfully obvious this year, well lots of things but one thing in particular. Last year, I own I was very critical of Quinn. I had high expectations for Arch and hoped with the right QB the ship would set sail. I was horribly wrong in both regards. The issue last year wasn't Quinn and this year isn't Arch. @Thatguy tried to make it clear (though I still disagree with some of his logic) but I couldn't see the forest for the trees. I saw bits and pieces on occasion. I had the puzzle mostly put together but didn't have the finished picture so was lost. This particular aspect is why I am so vehemently frustrated with Sark. I retrospect, knowing the full picture, and too a degree I saw most of it last year, Texas had a championship caliber team. Truly. From D to QB, from OL to LB. Now ST were not great but thats a separate issue. Penalties and RZ performance kept Texas from winning a national championship. That's 100% coaching issues. That torques me, a lot. Then this year came, D has gone poop and what I still believe to be generational talent a QB is being squandered because of horrible off season choices, terrible offensive schemes and a myriad of other coaching blunders. So if it is getting worse, and I'm accurate in my assessment that NIL doners are frustrated and likely to pull money with Sark at the helm... well.... the future is bleak. Maybe I'm wish casting to prevent the doom I perhaps incorrectly see coming next year. The tea leaves I'm reading support my position, but the truth is I'm a coffee guy so wtf do I really know. Nobody reads coffee grounds.
  3. This analysis was pretty spot on. He called for 80 if 95 broke. We made it 80,700 and finally got decent bounce. I put a drop in the bucket and reset some small daily buys for fun. Thank you for this post. It means we're getting near a bottom. I'm not very smart, but this explanation seems pretty feasible to me.
  4. Tender / Non-tender deadline is at 4:00 pm central.
  5. * SEC is going to a 9-game schedule next year * not all SEC teams schedule a total cupcake in late November (ahem)
  6. Cruz vs Vance is truly the battle of "which of these assholes will sacrifice their own children for power faster?"
  7. Just a gut feeling that the Horns will come out with something to prove tomorrow.
  8. I mean, there is Project 2025, but Trump ran from that on the campaign trail, lying all the way, and it mostly seems pretty unpopular except for the fact that Trump's doing it. I agree though that it is going to be really hard for them to replicate Trump and secure his base.
  9. I have two goals for the remainder of the 2025 season: 1. Win the Big 12 2. Beat aTm in a playoff game*. *And should this happen, I guarantee you aggy excuse will be they had a tougher season playing in the sec sec sec and thus they were more beat up than Tech in the playoffs. I guarantee you some agroids will say that very thing should we beat them in a playoff game.
  10. What is obvious from this post is you have made no attempt to get involved with NIL, go to any functions or meet anyone on this site. If you had you would realize how ridiculous you look making statements like this. On top of that you spend a very large percentage of your time trying to dismiss everything you read here. It’s a very bizarre path you have taken.
  11. Certainly not. And that isn't what the (initial, at least, until it went off the rails) people passing along info were saying. Now, if there's cause (which is what this started about), then there comes many more facets to consider. So the way I see this mess is that people heard some information and shared that. People with a brain are going to say fire the guy just because it's a down year. However, if that down year is because of off-field issues, then that may be a different story. The real question is would people rather have a heads up about what people "in the know" are talking about and hearing, or would they rather be an ostrich with their head in the fucking sand and get blindsided by something they could have at least been prepared to possibly happen?
  12. I’d like a shot at their sister.
  13. The Sark thread has admittedly been better, for sure.
  14. Would lanning come here? If sark leaves on fire then that will be 5 coaches in a row that I’m familiar with, could be more, that have came in golden and left a heap of shit. His record at Oregon is pretty darn good and he’s a defensive guy which would be a good change I think.
  15. 1. I'm not whining about anything. 2. It's all incestuous rankings and bullshit anyway. "we played 8 teams in the top 25. The only reason any SEC team lost a game is because they had to play the SEC" Yeah...Mkay. 3. Fuck Notre Dame and Fuck aggy. Those notions are hardly exclusive to 2025.
  16. Dahobbs

    NIMBYism

It unquestionably will by freeing up supply. Obviously, it doesn't move the needle much by itself. But it will help. Again, the premise isn't that this one building solves anything. But increasing supply through denser housing is most definitely a very effective solution to lowering housing prices.
  17. Btw I call bullshit. You would bounce the line out his bedroom door nightclub style in exchange for a title.
  18. Oh boy an aggy vs Tech fight
  19. I love how people who know that you can't use transitive property in college football will turn around and use the transitive property to justify a position on SOS. "Tech lost to ASU who lost to Mississippi State, thus, Tech is overrated and played a weak schedule." Now, in regards to the OOC, I will not even try to defend Tech's schedule. It is what it is, and it ain't much. But Tech did beat, convincingly, the #11, #12, and #23 currently ranked CFP teams, and lost on the road to the current #25 CFP ranked team by a last minute TD. If I try and point that out, aggies and golden domers will say that the Big12 is weak and Tech's schedule is weak, yada yada yada. Well, tell me who A&M and Notre Dame have beat? Notre Dame has the USC (#15) win...that's their only victory over a CFP Top 25 team. They lost to A&M and Miami (and Miami lost to SMU and Louisville. So don't give me this crap that Tech's SOS is so much weaker than Notre Dame's, or Oregon's, or A&M's for that matter. We have wins over 3 Top 25 CFP teams, something those other teams don't have.
  20. You've spelt Sark incorrectly. Although. there's no good reason why not both...
  21. First time? Sark Fan Bois are pretty salty as you can see. I thought Sark was a 7.5/10 hire and have proven to be right honestly. Even in his two great years, he got a couple of lucky breaks. Do I think our on-field performance this year warrants a change? No chance. Not sure Lane is worth the upgrade but do I think he's better? Yeah. I'd take Lanning, Cignetti, etc over him. Probably don't want to compare him to aggy Elko if you're a Sark boi
  22. This was the preseason line and a lot of places are still showing that...I don't think you can actually bet it.
  23. James Comey played a far more substantive role in influencing the outcome of the 2016 election, and certainly the aftermath, than any jerkoff for Jesus or hildawg arm wresting satan memes did.
  24. Like a piece of flair? You know, the Nazis had pieces of flair they made the jews wear.
