  2. I think quoting movies incessantly was part of a certain generation. Remember the joke/meme “quoting movies is not a personality type?” There was a decade or so where quoting movies was a big thing, and movies were made for a while targeted to that demographic. It just so happens to be the same generation that still posts on sports message boards. That’s my theory on the matter. As some have said they still make some tv shows for us to quote but the movie industry has moved on to something else. Not a movie but I saw this and made me think of this thread.
  3. So much with tallow! It has a high smoke point and adds great flavor. Before the 1960s or so basically everyone used tallow or lard so you can substitute it in for oil and it works really well in home style recipes. 1. Searing meat. 2. Panfrying 3. Roasting potatoes and veggies 4. Base for gravies or stew rouxs 5. Shortening for pastries (try it for biscuits) I love it for refrying beans or to grease a pan for a fried egg. I’m not a believer in garlic presses. I’d just get a wooden pestle to smash up garlic if that’s what you need or use the back of a knife and mince after. A garlic press just takes up space in the drawer.
  4. Tom Herman can’t hurt you anymore
  5. and it's just like it's just like. its just like, like its just like so it's just like, just because like they made a showmance and at some point, like, there'll be a time to maybe possibly like break a 23 YO girls heart...like why does it matter if it's done last week or in mid September? It's just like thats kinda sorta the point of the game tho right?

  7. Working towards all-time high in premarket. Hit $11.42 so far.
  8. I’ve posted the video here before. It was from Jimmy’s mouth that he was always leaving, even talked about never coaching anywhere very long and how he had a date in his calendar. One of the NFL network Super Bowl shows (I think it was 95, but might have been 93). as to the interview with the expansion team, Troy called him out in the same NFL network show. Said the team was livid that Jimmy was demanding their all and he was out interviewing for another team. On the Irvin trade, it was Davis. Appreciate the correction. I’m 87% sure that’s in Boys will be Boys. Ive never heard that Jimmy offered another year to Jerry.
  9. It will go up 5%.
  10. If YouTubeTV is your only option you won’t be watching the game this Saturday. I would start looking for other options

  13. This dumbfuck. If he’s claiming to be conservative in the USA in 2025 he’s more disabled than his son could ever be.
  14. Today
  15. Has anybody seen him?
  16. I guess part of being a badass Blackshirt means you can't count to 11.
  17. Once upon a time I had a couple discussions about him on real world stuff and the stupid literally burned, but it was recognizably the kind of stupid that you find from room temperature people on the real world. I am like 97% certain it’s not a bit and he does eat paint chips. I’m also reasonably certain that he is the smart one in his peer/friend group. 1/2 the world is below average and most of the world is actually dumb. He fits solidly in both categories.

  20. I wonder if his first venture into fuckery with the Fed will register at all with the market today.
  21. Yall keep watching the Mariners, which, ok, whatever. Winning the division but not getting the 1 or 2 seed is sort of pointless, not much functional difference between the 3-6 seed. Scoreboard watching should be for Toronto (last bye) and KC/Cleveland/texas (actual playoff spot). Mariners are pretty pointless other than prestige of winning west.
  22. One thing the Blackshirts did really well: Lose to Texas.
  23. ..with the Natural Life Food Company, a division of Chem Grow, an Allyn-Crane acquisition, and part of the Squimm Group "We Keep You Alive"
