  1. Past hour
  2. Margaritaville Conroe is half an hour away for you
  3. Oh, so not war crimes and genocide. Thanks, I just wanted to confirm that you are, in fact, a piece of shit.
  4. This shit was figured out 200 years ago, but assholes pretend like it's new, made-up science.
  5. OL was probably better, but that is it. The defense was light out. Big difference being the 2nd/3rd WR. Saying a QB needs to have 3 NFL WRs to be a great college QB is not a serious argument in my opinion. Its really rare for college QBs to get that luxury, unless you play QB at OSU recently. There are not a lot of QBs last year that had equal or more talent.
  6. Corruption.
  7. I like the flavor of beans in chili and people constantly complain. The 1st time i did it was in a work chili cook off and i won. So then it became part of how i make chili. On a side note a guy made chili for deer camp and he put cinnamon it. Cinnamon can not be snuck into chili and it DEFINITELY does not belong.
  8. Work smarter, not harder.
  9. Marlins are gonna get a Wild Card spot thanks to us, aren't they?
  10. Have any of you stayed here? https://www.omnihotels.com/hotels/san-antonio-mokara/property-details
  11. Or Penn State at #1 They will def absolutely no show against Oregon and Ohio State
  12. The Marvel phenomenon started in 2012 w/The Avengers? Or IM1? That was a long time ago. Trends shift. Not Marvel's fault. They need to pivot. Smaller, cheaper movies, or fewer movies in a year. Or lean in to the kinda movies/shows that aren't so "super hero," to appeal to non-comic fans. Shows like the Punisher, Penguin, etc. Change the names of the characters and you still have a great stand-alone program. Endgame isn't gonna happen again for at least another generation. Doomsday is gonna not gonna pull anything like its predecessors.
  13. Total pain in the ass
  14. Real estate is highly competitive and only attracts the best and brightest.
  15. As per usual, your facts are wrong. The cause of global warming isn't debatable from a scientific standpoint. It is greenhouse emissions from human activity. The arguments you've heard the contrary aren't from folks that actually know what they are talking about, but political bullshit artists. End of story. Artic ice extent is very much still an issue and very much still decreasing: https://nsidc.org/sea-ice-today/sea-ice-tools/charctic-interactive-sea-ice-graph https://www.climate.gov/news-features/event-tracker/2025-winter-maximum-sea-ice-extent-arctic-smallest-record If you're not seeing articles on this issue, it is because your chosen new sources are ignoring them or actively lying to you.
  16. Yeah I agree hearing others say "same, same" is HUGELY helpful. on the writing front I can share some success, once he realized I wasn't happy and that he wasn't getting to hang with friends until he did some work, he got to it. not the way I would but he did it. then we worked through two drafts together and I was able to impart some real wisdom on how to write. I think he listened, his demeanor and his second draft surely indicated he listened. not sure anyone has really stopped to teach the young man how to truly write with intent. so I'm taking these essays as a chance to really up his writing skills. @BabaYaga my senior kicks all kinds of ass on the 4 requirements you mention. my 15 year old is good on 1 and 4, probably ok on 2. Appropriate attire.... someone PLEASE HELP .... socks with birkenstocks are killing my eyes!
  17. This should be at the top of every page of this thread.
  18. This came up on my social feed that we, as parents, need to address immediately: 9 out of 10 managers say Gen Z need to be taught fundamental workplace behaviors Being on time Responding to communication requests Appropriate attire Eye contact and verbal communication The good news kids, is that this is your competition. Don't slack off, show up on time, do your shit, and the path is there.
  19. I don’t have an issue with him going to prison
  20. Serious question - what's the point? Just to make it last longer?
  21. At the risk of stirring up this pot of shit, have we considered that Ewers supporting cast in 2024 was worse than it was in 2023? All this talk about the talent around him has me wondering. I think WR and RB definitely took a step back. OL probably improved, just with the same group of guys getting another year older, but losing Worthy, Mitchell, Whittington, Brooks, and Baxter could not have helped. Golden was a great replacement, but Bond disappointed and the other WR options (Wingo and Moore) were very green. No hate on Wisner either, who stepped up in a big way, but he is just not on the same level of Brooks and Baxter. Ewers definitely looked worse this past season, but I think some of it could be explained by the offense as a whole taking a step back.
