2025 NHL Playoffs Thread - Let the madness begin!
C-Man replied to Longhorn_Fan68's topic in Other Sports
Nor do I, as long as Florida played well. Theyβre better than Toronto. Period. End of story. And once the Panthers got settled, they proved it. -

1 - Too bad the Dean didnβt see it that way when I was matriculating at UT during the early 60s. 2 - No kidding, and itβs even worse when I donβt proofread before posting replies. -

No. There were others. In season 1, Chief Hyne, Syril's lazy boss was Yohn Royce, the bannerman of House Arryn. Leida, played one of Vary's little birds. The Spice King played a Senator. Captain Tigo from season 1 had a brief appearance as Rhaegar Targaryen.

Or just salt and a few paper towels. I cook everything on cast iron. I've had mine for a decade +/- now and she's just now fully broken in. I also have my g-mothers cast irons that are smooth as glass at the ranch. I have a big jar of salt from Costco and just pour in a little, and work it around with a towel. I usually de-glaze with a little water, then finish off with a salt scrub, then rinse. Good to go.

The way they keep talking, I'm going to guess they're at Possum Kingdom.

Carpenter and water heater replacement...

Definitely replacing both. While my initial bias is against tankless, I think I am worrying about the 0.01% problems with them - and that most of the failure problems now have failsafes. -

It was not a typo. Good, reasonably priced. Unreliable -
Oh no! Not negged! I was just pointing out the humorous timing of the three posts I quoted. Lighten up Francis

Sad she wouldn't stand by her word, what a coward. Maybe she shouldn't say stupid shit.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet
BurntEyes replied to Coach pop a bitch's topic in Football
Hahah, did you not notice in the last page Sam was discussed and that Vince, Colt, Major and Simms have been steady components of this thread. This is primarily a University of Texas forum and this is the Texas Football sub. Quinn is going to continue to be compared to how other Texas QBs performed in the NFL, how he performed compared to Manning and other aspects of former Texas QBs. If you want discussion content that is purely Quinn's performance while in the NFL at Miami with no historical Texas QB references, you might want to TRY Here -

"unreliable" carpenter? If not a typo, that seemed odd as I read it. -

Elon Musk: Nazi traitor piece of shit [Confirmed]
bolverk replied to MaybeACoordinator's topic in Daily Texan
To better understand how the information that Mr. Musk consumes on X could shape his worldview, The New York Times recreated a version of Mr. Muskβs personal feed by opening a new account on X and following the same 1,109 users that he follows. We then analyzed more than 175,000 posts from the accounts that he follows, using a service that collects data from X. Though there is no guarantee that Mr. Musk saw all of the posts captured by The New York Times, the accounts that he follows β including world leaders and business tycoons alongside conspiracy theorists and far-right influencers β reveal the voices that Mr. Musk appears to value. (This βFollowingβ feed is different from the main βFor Youβ feed, which includes posts from those he follows alongside others selected by Xβs algorithm.) The resulting feed, shown in this article as a selection of posts curated from the much larger set, revealed ample praise for Mr. Musk and his various priorities, mixed with a torrent of right-wing outrage over progressive politics. It highlights the ways that social networks can create information bubbles. X declined to comment.
