I loved it. Nothing really to add other than I love seeing shows with the "Philly"-ish accent. My dad's side of the family is from Chester County (Delco adjacent) and I hear their accents in the characters. It's crazy that there are so many brits taking on these roles. I guess all the actorrs from the area spend a lot of time trying to rid themselves of the accent. Also, the neice is fucking hot.

Well, I went to numerous pediatrician appointments; but I didn't second guess shit. Whatever doc said to get, them kids got it.

Yep to all that. At the University of Texas, the planning program is part of the School of Architecture; hence, its popularity in non-architecture contexts in Austin, and city planning obviously involves urban design stuff. Man, I got really sick of hearing about Andres Duany and what we derisively called his new sub-urbanism because of its inauthenticity back then and we were punk planning students. Anyway, I kinda wanna say that I vaguely recall someone mentioning that the term was imported from Portland, so the general PNW region makes sense. For my part, I've mostly worked in the economic development field, but that obviously involves a lot of land use issues and revitalization projects (rehab, adaptive reuse, etc.) and often involves folks from your realm. A name you probably know is Peter Calthorpe. I'm not at my old firm anymore, but one of the two principals at the time came to Austin from your neck of the woods and was good friends with him, so we partnered a few times and have done some work up there in Redmond, Puyallup, and Longview (he wasn't involved in any of those particular projects). Generally speaking, revitalization shit is my game, but you only eat what you kill.

I saw us do an interesting wrinkle on defense against UTEP. Simmons lines up on the LT with Moore outside of him. #1 drops back into what appears to be coverage, short zone over the middle, but is really spying the QB. He tackled him for no gain when the pocket collapsed and the QB tried to escape. We can run similar combinations of this with Simmons, Moore, Spence, and Ant Hill. Who's coming? Good luck, Mateer.

Oh, I've shot at that range as well (again, quite a long time ago, but I have shot out there. Sighted in my .300 WBY Mag). -
DOTUS is speaking at the UN GA tomorrow? That should go well.

As is always the case, a society/state can choose the Rule of Law, or Rule of the Gun. Those are the two choices. Opting out of the Rule of Law necessarily and inevitably means opting into the other. Choose wisely.

Yeah I don't trust a State department that has been actively talking about stripping citizenship from nonwhite people. Much less from an unnamed source. This Administration lies like a fish swims.

Actually, I was actually asking for clarification and worded my question poorly, but please continue with the red ass.

And yet you inferred that he was drawing an equivalence between Michigan, Auburn, SJSU, UTEP, and Sam Houston, which he clearly did not.

Just realized I haven't checked this thread in a long while. Knock on wood, but have been pretty fortunate staying injury and sickness free for pretty much the whole summer, other than the aforementioned turf toe which lingered for a few weeks and limited my cardio options. Nothing that really caused me to miss any lifting. Hit a new personal mark in the gym today that I'm pretty proud of. On Mondays, I do cardio and then use the bench press machine at my office gym. When I started exercising again ~3 years ago, I could only do like 3 x 12 sets of 140/150/160 give or take. It maxes out at 200 lbs. Eventually built up to 5 x 12 of 200 but stalled out there for a long while. Been trying to bump it up each Monday for the last few weeks. I just keep doing sets of 200 until I can't do another rep without taking a long break. 81 today. Would like to hit 100 at least once before the year ends.
