Picked up the anniversary reissue of Jimmy Page and the Black Crowes. Zeppelin never sounded so good live.

Not very well today! The dough shrank/thickened after I rolled it out so it was basically individual-sized Sicilian pies. Still, better than frozen pizza.

Aggy probably didn't have a problem when Bryce Foster was #5 or whatever in the nation on Rivals and Reuben Fatheree kept getting moved up every time the rankings were updated. -
Better hit up instacart, wally, or some type of delivery service.

I’m also worried about our offense. Last year we had all the experience across the board. This year we are young across the board gonna be fun to see how sark dials it up -
Cody Campbell, who is trying to singlehandedly bigdog Tceh into the haves, but knows it can only go so far. I am troubled by SCORE, as reported above, to the extent it relies on NCAA for enforcement. NCAA is a classic example of a captured agency. I'd like to see SCORE be enforceable by criminal authorities, the DOE or something similar, and private civil suit.

I wonder if we will also see top recruits commit to second tier schools, like Baylor or Tech or SMU, for the payday and to play right away, then transfer to a contender with NFL development chops after a year or two. Top schools will have more money tied up on their current roster and fewer opportunitiesto start as a freshman, so this could be a play. It might not always be the best move for player development, but if the money is right... -
The epitome of masculinity for half the country!

I have questions, and I need old timers help. 1) Why did Emory Ballard suddenly leave aggy? 2) Who was or who hired the OU spy? Switzer acknowledged there was a spy, but it was on Chucks’ staff. Who was Chuck? 3) Any more color on RC’s secretary driving on to the practice field would be greatly appreciated. Pretty fucking funny.
-
So OU's goal is to be the new K-State. Cool, I guess. Not saying stars are everything and the ranking services are never wrong, but there's a very high correlation between stacking top 5 classes and winning national championships. I like our approach.

My reading glasses fell apart but I can’t see them well enough to fix them.

name one person who’s said that.

It all still goes back to the cars being too fucking big and too fucking heavy, both of which are directly contradictory to the DNA of F1. Terrible on a tight street course, terrible in slow corners, and terrible in the rain/wet. And specifically today, the damage to the 'show' was even further exacerbated by not starting the race sooner. All around just a huge waste of a potentially great Sunday at Spa. Dry all weekend and then wet on Sunday - esp at Spa - used to typically be a great recipe. But nah. Let's take this great thing and fuck it all up.
-
Jeez these espn talking heads are terrible. Not that it wasn't expected, but damn.

I’m not sure he’s clueless. There’s a legit chance he’s just lying to their fucking faces.

The “Texas doesn’t develop talent” bias has largely been washed out. It took little thought to move that largely down the road to ATM, and that has absolutely happened. -

One strategy I think we’ll see get deployed by strategic families is to avoid risky situations even if they’re a recruit’s favorite choice and send them somewhere stable. If that risky situation clears up, try to transfer if you want. Seems obvious, but that couldn’t be done in the past and I’m not sure how many people it’s occurred to yet, but it’s only going to further cloud roster talent and depth going forward. -

Colorado fans in broad strokes are insufferable. Not in an aggie/pig/tiegaw sort of way, more USC fan sort of way.

add JT, McNealy and most everyone from 10 on down (in the Ryder Cup standings), the only guy really playing well in July from further down is Gotterup. I'd like to see some life/spark from the guys in the 7+ slots.

It's more than just a question of the"individual talent" of the 2025 secondary... the way the 2024 unit played together was critical for their success. Having 5 talented players in your secondary doesn't guarantee success if they don't play together, play their assignments and play intelligently. Barron + Taaffe + Mukuba kept that secondary tight and in the right places/coverages -- gonna be interesting to see how well this year's secondary plays as a unit together. -
It doesn’t help that McLaren is so much faster than everyone else most weeks.
