Texas Football 2025 Fall Camp - Kicking the Sonofabitch In
Hermanator replied to closetojumping's topic in Football
The 13 games Ewers played the offense averaged a tad over 30 pts per game. The 3 of Arch (against MSU and 2 OOC cakes) were up around 45. I think we average substantially more than 30.5 pts per game this season. -
Perennial health, not directly related to fitness, thread
troph replied to Parliament's topic in Can You Help Me With This?
that guy is a tool and a blowhard. he rails on fasters, says workouts and calorie restrictions induce autophagy, well so does sleep (as i mentioned above along with exercise) and fasting, and to your point there is a basal rate of autophagy but given the onslaught of cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, chronic conditions, etc. it seems to me anything we can do to help our bodies heal and cope is a good thing. calorie restriction is great for autophagy, so is a sustained intermittent fasting (16/8 is a really common daily pattern), but some folks - like me - don't want to deal with IF on a daily or weekly basis, and I for sure don't like constant calorie restriction - fuck that noise completely - so the alternative I choose is the 3 day fast 3-4x per year. Intense, but short lived, in and out and then back to my regular attempts at a healthy lifestyle with exercise, sleep, diet, destress, relationships and cognitive health are my focus. And the research is emerging but clear and promising that calorie restriction / intermittent fasting / sustained fasting are beneficial to a whole range of bodily functions just like resistance/weight training, HIIT, sprint interval training, zone 2 training with bumps up for extreme bursts, etc., etc. But hey, don't forget to hit the like button to help this brother out. -

Dem Strategeries For Mass Cult Reprogramming
Bozo_Casanova replied to Al Bundy's Napoleon Hand's topic in Cloak Room
Wendy Davis literally ran a campaign for governor that mostly ignored daily life problems and almost exclusively focused on an abortion bill filibuster that ultimately failed. It wound up like the extension ND gave Charlie Weiss after his “signature loss” to USC. And that’s the Dems *best* social issue. Tell you what. Let’s you and me walk a block for 3 hours, anywhere in Texas with a Democrat% lower than 60%. We have a maximum of five minutes with each person. You can say anything you want, but the first thing you must tell them is why they should support trans rights. I’ll exclusively talk about the economy and nothing else. I bet I can collect more D votes, deal? -
FIFA And then she’d sue for unlawful imprisonment. Fuck this simulation.

I was worried some would say it was forced or overly done fan service...but yeah, you're spot on.

Correct, Coleman at Auburn came to mind too. Some interesting roster cycles for sure. There are also some draft-eligible transfers like Singleton, Branch, Concepcion, Barion Brown and Nic Anderson who could play their way into high draft picks or put up a dud of a season. Feels like there is a lot of volatility with the skill guys this year. -
such a great song...just sets that whole mood.

Ha I did the same shit with my oldest boy around that age when World War Z came out. The initial zombie scene with all the cars freaked his ass out. Left immediately. -
I kinda wished Eric Andre had just followed him around and become his caddy but Bad Bunny was an acceptable substitute.

Bryson is a perfect fit for Bethpage. He’ll be fine there. I’d roll with the top 6, JT, Keegan, Griffin, Mav, Morikawa, plus a hit hand from the playoffs. But I’m sure Keegan will make it the top 6, JT, him, Morikawa, Cantlay, Burns, and Harman.

A friend of mine (sort of, more of a friend of a friend) came to Austin several years ago for work and was staying at the JW Marriott on 2nd & Congress downtown. He lives in a rural town with few restaurant options so naturally he wanted to go somewhere for lunch. Dude was literally around the corner from Cooper's BBQ and his restaurant of choice that he wanted me to take him to was....Shake Shack. I legit haven't said a word to him since and that was like 7-8 years ago. -
I can NOT wait for the crying about this episode.

Gremlins never scared me, but I was like 6 or 7 and tagged along with my cousin and his girlfriend to see Predator....let's just say the walk hone through the woods that night may have been the scariest walk I ever took home.... -

My parents loaded up the entire brood when I was 5 and took us to see 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and whew boy, that giant squid made my sleep pure torture for several weeks. Seeing Old Yeller for the first time was traumatic too, albeit in a different way. -

still surreal to me how much of an influence comedy podcasts had on a presidential election. and since it’s all on video and online, they should be held accountable, and never allowed to forget the part they played- however small or insignificant it may seem- in bringing all of this hatred, cruelty, and inhumanity to everyday life in america.
