TCU had enough petty cash on hand. OSU owes Gundy $15 million outright if they fire him. The amount doesn't decrease until sometime in 2027. In other words, they could fire him and pay up. Or, maybe negotiate something lower in exchange for his "retirement" this winter.

Tottenham Hotspur 2025-26: For a Few Trophies More
DeepEastTexas replied to Captain Ron's topic in Futbol
I'll take that goal, good to see the boys fight back to score an equalizer. One thing about Frank, he makes adjustments in tactics and personnel. That's one thing that was lacking with Ange. -
Crikey, Mate.

Elon Musk: Nazi traitor piece of shit [Confirmed]

Wait…it may be the case that an Elon venture is vastly over-promising and under-delivering? I’m utterly shocked. -

Do you FIRE? Financial Independence, Retire Early

The big issues I see with 55+ communities is that they’re really 75+ and everyone there probably complains about everything. Even situations they helped create. You know that if your lawn is 1/8 inch too high because of heavy rains, you’re getting a letter from the HOA. -

Arch is out leading rusher. He can’t pass but i wouldn’t say our running game is elite -
woof. The chick in the stands w/ the sign: Ferrari is my Red Flag = absolute perfect representation of the tifosi.

I'd try that Kentucky KIlt though. '24 Willa Fresh Hop Sticky Hands for contrast, and my new discoveries in HOps-land( I know it isn't new for everyone else.) -
I’ll take any positive news at this point, no matter how small.

If you are up for a drive Playa Conchal is my favorite beach in that area. I think it’s a little less than an hour away though. As the others said just use an ATM and get colones for whatever cash you need.

Had neighbors that did a Viking cruise on I think the Rhône, and then had a port of call or two along the coast of France. Sounded like a good route.

And, wife’s out of town, so breakfast just for me. Black pudding. And just black pudding. And coffee, of course.

Ok maybe my eyes are lying and we can't convert short 3rd and 4th downs or score in the red zone because Arch can't throw.

Best Mexican lager? Please don't say Modelo. (I'm making borracho beans.) -
Or people who already thought the economy was shitty (it wasn’t)

I left off "Miss You". Best disco song ever, and by a long shot.

Plus…I hear those places are sex dens. So you’d have that going for you, which is nice. -
I swear we have had this thread before, and previously the most common answers were can’t you hear me knocking and monkey man. And those haven’t been mentioned once yet.

Personal finance hacks (credit cards)
Nice Guy Eddie replied to Nice Guy Eddie's topic in Business and Markets
For anyone with the Amex Platinum, they just introduced some new benefits along with unfortunately raising the annual price to $900. These benefits are good as of this week. Use the quarter benefits now before Q3 ends at the end of Sept. new benefits (you have to pay with the Amex platinum and activate before buying) $400 restaurant credit for any restaurant on the Resy reservation system. $100 per quarter. I don’t believe you're required to reserve with Resy but rather just pay with the card. $300 lululemon credit. $75 per quarter. They have men’s clothing too. It’s basically a free shirt, shorts, or pants a few times per year. free Uber One membership. I’m uncertain how valuable this is but its normally $120/yr. Free Oura health tracker or something. I doubt I try this. increased benefits Raised the $200 annual hotel credit to $600 or actually $300 per half year. Only select hotels. raised the digital entertainment credit to $25 monthly. Added YouTube Premium (no ads on YouTube) and YouTube TV as options. they keep some benefits the same like $200 uber credit, $200 airline credit, free WalMart+, free Paramount+, hotel status, Clear, free TSA pre check, etc. $900 is a hefty fee but with the full benefits, I probably get >$2K back in some form especially with a handful of personal trips per year. I don’t even count the memberships that I wouldn’t have bought otherwise.
