Texas Recruiting Notes 2027: I remember watching his dad play

I am bumping this because this is one of the greatest 30 minute TV shows in history and, as far as I am concerned, the greatest show in television history. Great writing… Great characters… And great acting by everyone involved. You can watch it right now and being a 60 year old show does not matter. It still holds up.

Captain Lurker started following Tensions between the natives and Indians in Prosper?

Born, raised and still live in NE Texas. Grew up in the country and spent countless hours in the woods, creek bottoms and stock ponds. During the "snake season" I could count on seeing a snek just about everyday if I was looking. There were no shortages of cottonmouths and copperheads. Not once have I seen a coral snek or a rattlesnek in the wild. I did see a dead rattlesnek in Arizona at one of our facilities that got ran over by a dozer. I cut the rattles off and gave it to one of my co-workers from Japan. He didn't know what to make of it.

Peyton’s favorite shot in the 2nd half of the 2nd set was: “Hit the ball 4 inches to the right of the right sideline.” Peyton could have broken to go up 5-2 if she had hit behind Svitolina on a rally at about 15-40 or so. Her ability to shit the bed would make my sister’s organ-failing-dog jealous. I’m a little behind LIVE action, but Tommy Paul is following Peyton’s lead on “How NOT to close out a match.”

Las Vegas go hard or go home thread

I can’t remember if I commented on Fontainebleau from one of my visits last fall, but it falls in line with the rest. We had a reservation there for the Dan’s Steakhouse. We went early from our hotel, Aria, and the drive was like 20 minutes. It is was far away from everything else on The Strip. When we got there, the place was dead on a Friday evening. We were able to walk up and take over a blackjack table and play for an hour. I prefer craps, but I would have been the only one rolling, so, fuck it. Probably put down $500 to play and have since been offered 3 complimentary nights stay. They seem desperate. The place is beautiful. The food at the steakhouse was outstanding. We may go back there for the steakhouse again this time since we’ve done most of the others multiple times. -
Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet
Thatguy replied to Coach pop a bitch's topic in Football
Yep. A huge chunk of Ewers missed downfield throws were on the same route combo where the deep guy is running a big post. He threw it vertical every. damn. time. He was very good with true verticals on his right side, and missed quite a few true verticals on his left. -

If Bonds and Clemens aren't in, there's no way these schmucks are getting in.

If you think that the MAGA GQP is the greatest threat the Republic has faced since the Civil War (and you'd be right about that), what is your most-likely-to-succeed path at derailing it? 1) Contribute your time and money to the Democratic party, counting on it to get its shit together and mount an effective opposition? 2) Join the Republican party, hoping and working to establish/build a counter-movement within the party to overtake the MAGA movement? At this point, I'm thinking the smart money is on option 2). I mean, neither will work, but 2) has a much higher chance (think 5% chance vs. 1% chance).

I go to India at least once a year for a week or two for business and go all over by planes, trains, and automobiles. The best part about India....leaving. -

Clawing / pushing / pulling your friend is not proper seizure protocol. Let the person have their seizure but make sure they don't get hurt during the seizure. Loosen tight clothing, move furniture away, put something soft under their head. At least that's what I tell my family and coworkers if I ever have another grand mal.

Texas Baseball 2025 - The Schwining tradition starts here...

My wild ass prediction is Grayson Saunier is going to start the third game this week. Keeps Grubbs in the bullpen and allows Flores to go back to the bullpen, where he has looked more comfortable. -

To hear them admit their preference for white people who are a better cultural fit than say, the Afghans who we’re turning our backs on, was shocking in just how clear they are about their immigration plans going forward.
