  3. Are there any shades that don’t fog up when you leave the car for outside? My Ray Bans fog up so bad I have to pull them off to se anything.
  4. Jokes on them, the fries can’t get any worse
  5. "That green thing" "We're not sure where it came from"
  6. help is on the way .....
  7. I was in the drive-thru lane of an In-n-Out when the person in front of me paid in coins. Poor cashier was counting coins for about 3 minutes while everyone's fries got cold.
  8. His body positioning is really strange.
  9. OU is doomed to failure, IMO. I appreciate that college football has become way more transactional than it ever has been, but it's always been transactional on some level. OU fielding successful teams is the perfect example of that. It's still relational, though. The NFL's primary source of talent acquisition is the draft. Of course they can fill in gaps with free agency and trades, but if you're not drafting well you're simply not going to be able to compete at the highest level. College football's primary source of talent acquisition remains high school recruiting. At least for programs with national championship aspirations. Which OU may or may not ever achieve again, but that's going to be the fan base's expectation for the time being. The transfer portal is critical, but it's to plug gaps, not to overhaul the entire roster. And even there relationships can be important. OU is adding layers to their talent acquisition that are going to make them inherently less effective in recruiting. Not more effective. They are going to purposefully recruit guys who are undervalued in order to beat the system. But they're having the coaches recruit players they didn't fully invest in. That's an organizational issue. Also, Nagy says his goal is to win national championships, but that's not really his goal. His goal is to keep his job regardless of performance. OU fans and administrators are obviously desperate. They do not feel like they can compete in the NIL space so they're hoping Nagy is some kind of magic bullet. Castiglione has resigned/retired, in part because of the dynamics in play within the athletic department. Venables isn't happy having the power of building his roster taken away from him. He's on a short leash. If/when OU fails to meet expectations, who is going to get the ax? It's not going to be Nagy, that seems certain. He's going to be able to sell this form of bullshit for several years before OU people realize the Emperor isn't wearing clothes. They'll probably have to go through at least one more coaching change before they clean shop. OU's best hope is that Nagy is hired away to peddle his bullshit somewhere else. Because what kind of quality head coach is going to want to sign up for this mess? This is doomed to failure. They'd be better off hiring Larry Ellison's wife for the position. At the very least go after one of Harold Hamm's kids. Then hire the right coach like they did with Bob Stoops. I realize coaches like that can be a moon shot, but that's what it takes. Nagy is going to help run that program into middling status at best.
  10. Happens to the best of us. My appliance repair man tore apart my washing machine and found one of those as well.
  11. This is what I wanted to hear regarding Baxter. Hope he continues to get stronger during the course of the 3rd and 4th games of the season.
  12. He’s gonna lose his aggy ring talking truth to power like that!
  13. In below Video wearing #31 in high school... 🤘
  14. *A character Will McAvoy, played by Jeff Daniels, written by Aaron Sorkin.
  15. Willful indoctrination. If you shut down Fox, they'd subscribe to another equally or worse because they need to believe a justification for their racism. Their sole, core fundamental belief is that they're god's chosen people, based on being white. They couldn't point to Jerusalem on a map, or the Gaza Strip, or Pakistan, or Iraq, but they don't care. They are the sun that everything else orbits. The time has never been better for smallpox. We all know what needs to be done and have the cure, but they wouldn't take it and now we have those in power that would forbid the vaccine.
  16. I like this in the comments
  17. RE: Baxter I think we’ll be fine. He’d be nice to have against fOSU and Florida. I hope he’s back by OU, but Gibson probably gives Texas 85% of what Baxter does.
  18. Thank you for sharing. Yes, the protests were squashed. So again, Hamas is in charge. Not sure how you justify them being handed a state. “The protesters directed their anger at Hamas's leadership after an interview with senior official Sami Abu Zuhri circulated on social media. Speaking on a podcast which originally aired in late March, he said that the war with Israel was "eternal", adding: "We will rebuild the houses and produce dozens more babies for each martyr."” Who are you quoting?
  19. Eugenio Suárez deal must absolutely include The Latino Bambino, The Meaner Beaner, The Mexicano Tejano, err… I mean The Hispanic Titanic Ivan Melendez…. Órale!
  20. Burton: Day One Impressions: - Michael Taaffe broke the team down to start practice. Last year, it was Quinn Ewers on day one and Barryn Sorrell on day two. - Last year, we would have graded the punting unit a D or so. With the new punter, Texas has a chance to get a A or A+. More distance, significantly more hang time. It is literally like the difference between daylight and dark. Texas now has a punter with an NFL caliber leg. - Josiah Sharma has a chance to be a special player at Texas. - Emaree Winston has a tremendous catch radius. - Jack Endries is well put together physically, but he is not physically imposing. Good hands, exacting route runner. - Emmett Mosley looks the part physically. He looks more like a junior or senior than a true sophomore. Good hands. - I like the improvement I saw from Michael Terry, Jamie Ffrench and Kaliq Lockett. They almost looked out of place in the spring. Not anymore. They have upped their game IMO. - DeAndre Moore was first team punt returner, followed by Daylan McCutcheon, who was followed by Ryan Niblett. - Alex January, Cole Brevard and Maraad Watson look ready. Today. Impressive conditioning for big guys for first day of practice in this heat. - Levon Johnson was held out of much of practice with what looked like a sprained left ankle that was heavily taped. - Both Kade Phillips and Jonah Williams were held out. Steve Sarkisian said in his post practice availability that both had hamstring tweaks that they are monitoring. - My favorite plays of practice were the long throws from Arch. The deep ball will be a fundamental part of 2025 unlike any previous year under Sark. Or really any Texas coach.
