What the fuck is wrong with you, Austin?
MissingInAction replied to crash_davis's topic in Daily Texan
The UT shuttle was a great way to get around. Practically an express line to and from campus where you could transfer to another bus to get across town. I did the same back in the mid 90s. -
Man if we thought arch had too much hype and pressure on him coming here. Signing Vinny in 28 is going to be next level no pressure hype machine
-
Kinda reminded me of me when I'm running into South Austin's mom's house.

Why is she a dipshit? You should take your own advice from the second quoted portion. Stop flinging shit and explain yourself. Be better.

Game Week Thread 2025 Game Week 5: Texas at Florida
Codaxx replied to Wulaw Horn's topic in Football
You have to respect Florida. They are way more talented than their record. You let them stay in the game and they may actually play to their talent. Get a quick lead and they may quit. I hate these type of games. There is no upside to beating a talented underperformer. Lose and you suck. Win and nobody cares. -
Government Shutdown 2025: This Time Itβs Personal

I guess youβre going to have to articulate what you think they should be doing so we can compare what theyβre doing with what you want them to do. -
Agreed. And for the Louvre, do your research. Pick the must sees, and then skip the rest.

Which appeals to progressives are an issue or is this just something you say because you like the way it sounds?

"Extensive studies of homosexual relationships" while getting a BBA at LSU. I think that means glory holes and arcade booths.

2021-22 Big XII Basketball Thread of Fuck Baylor
Devidjhon replied to El Diablo's topic in Basketball
Gotta admit, this Big XII season has been one of the wildest in a while. Every team seems capable of knocking off the top dogs on any given night, which makes it a lot more fun to follow. Baylor is still tough, but watching them get pushed around a bit shows just how balanced the conference is this year. Honestly, the unpredictability kind of reminds me of planning group trips sometimes you think everythingβs locked in, then it all changes and you need a backup. Thatβs why Iβve found resources like this one handy when dealing with big groups; same principle applies here: depth, reliability, and being able to adjust on the fly are what win out. -

Trump has been the candidate for the βburn it all downβ crowd from the beginning. Thatβs his base. Itβs well past time to indulge them. -

10 year sneaking down last few days, down .05 to 4.09 here's to hoping the government shutdown lingers and keeps moving the 10 year down -
Probably not worst idea. That's what I probably would have done, but I've always wanted a different lock to lock ratio than what I've got.

This piece is worth a read: https://abovethelaw.com/2025/09/supreme-courts-shadow-docket-scam-collides-with-reality/ All of this is especially infuriating given the handling of the Trump insurrection and classified documents cases. "Trying to stop a traitorous ex-president from committing another coup in the future? Sorry, you're going to have to ping-pong back and forth between district and appellate courts for years on end. Trying to gut the Constitution and decades of jurisprudence in a matter of months? By all means, step to the front of the line and let us give you a hand." If the Dems ever manage to get back in control, they better have a plan for dealing with the Supreme Court. The masks have slipped, and we can't pretend that the conservative wing can be trusted to act in good faith.
