  3. (David Hale) Week 15 Anger Index: The case for Texas and month-long gripes for Miami, BYU
  4. Valid point. Woulda been great to see how this team fared on the road in the CCG/CFP. Ah well.
  5. how about we stay away from Morocco mmmkay
  6. I still miss Abe Lemons …
  7. Get this shit going. STFU
  8. Yeah, it's called that we didnt find ourselves until after all our road games were completed. The only one where we played even somewhat decent was against UGA and then we melted in the 4th quarter. And had tons of drops in the leadup to the 4th. I dont think we got a good sense of what this team is capable of on the road because our first 4 conference games were all away from home and we were still an offensive mess at that time.
  9. Fuck at least David Zaslav won't keep killing finished projects just to harvest tax savings. Now some new asshole can kill projects after a single successful season!
  10. I was thinking Aaron Butler. nm—see the word costly.
  11. As a child . . . as a soldier. Some self-hating, closeted guys do the "hoorah / kill em all" shit to further enhance their "normal straight republican" credentials. Its pathological.
  12. No disagreement there, but the way we GET there is by ensuring that none of those excessive risk takers are large enough to be a load-bearing pillar of the economy, such that their failure would cause larger collapse. Don't make YOUR risk so great that it would materially damage OUR economy. Kind of like we don't let people use their homes as bomb-making factory - because your failure would cause massive harm to surrounding structures. The underlying social contract involves such trade-offs. If we want to encourage people to take large risks in the pursuit of large reward and large "innovation" (and maybe we do, there's definitely a good case to be made), then we should also ensure that they - and they alone - bear the burden of that risk. Because, spoiler: they, and they alone SURE AS SHIT will reap all of the reward if it pays off.
  13. Joe Pa still dead and Sandusky still in prison
  14. I can see that. I wonder how this will affect the people who get Netflix at a discount through certain channels. We get Netflix at a big discount through T-Mobile. But I imagine they will take this merger into account for these customers. Netflix no ads plus Max no ads currently is what price? We used to use my fiance's sister's Max account for years until they cracked down hard on password sharing a few months ago. We are currently shopping around for this app as we enjoy it. I see it being offered in the Hulu/Disney/Max bundle. We already have Hulu/Disney/ESPN+. I am perfectly happy to replace ESPN+ with Max. ESPN+ shows a whole bunch of lower tier games I don't care about. But with Hulu and Disney merging in 2026 and now this HBO/Netflix merger, no idea what will happen with this bundle.
  15. We've been flat-out pitiful on the road this year. The gap between us at home and us on the road is vast. A&M had similar problems under Jimbo, who was notorious for poor road game prep so maybe it's something concrete that can be fixed.
  16. Um, no it's not. Because money.
  17. absolutely not wasting time to even turn the tv on for a fifa shitfest and iirc on a/b/d will have any certainty today all the other groups will simply be the draw - no venues confirmed - no times confirmed
