  1. Past hour
  2. It all still goes back to the cars being too fucking big and too fucking heavy, both of which are directly contradictory to the DNA of F1. Terrible on a tight street course, terrible in slow corners, and terrible in the rain/wet. And specifically today, the damage to the 'show' was even further exacerbated by not starting the race sooner. All around just a huge waste of a potentially great Sunday at Spa. Dry all weekend and then wet on Sunday - esp at Spa - used to typically be a great recipe. But nah. Let's take this great thing and fuck it all up.
  3. Jeez these espn talking heads are terrible. Not that it wasn't expected, but damn.
  4. I’m not sure he’s clueless. There’s a legit chance he’s just lying to their fucking faces.
  5. The “Texas doesn’t develop talent” bias has largely been washed out. It took little thought to move that largely down the road to ATM, and that has absolutely happened.
  6. Wow. You weren't kidding. That state of Texas group was pretty much a Jurassic Park pile of shit
  7. One strategy I think we’ll see get deployed by strategic families is to avoid risky situations even if they’re a recruit’s favorite choice and send them somewhere stable. If that risky situation clears up, try to transfer if you want. Seems obvious, but that couldn’t be done in the past and I’m not sure how many people it’s occurred to yet, but it’s only going to further cloud roster talent and depth going forward.
  8. Colorado fans in broad strokes are insufferable. Not in an aggie/pig/tiegaw sort of way, more USC fan sort of way.
  9. Looking good, imo.
  10. Be sure to tell your friends
  11. add JT, McNealy and most everyone from 10 on down (in the Ryder Cup standings), the only guy really playing well in July from further down is Gotterup. I'd like to see some life/spark from the guys in the 7+ slots.
  12. It's more than just a question of the"individual talent" of the 2025 secondary... the way the 2024 unit played together was critical for their success. Having 5 talented players in your secondary doesn't guarantee success if they don't play together, play their assignments and play intelligently. Barron + Taaffe + Mukuba kept that secondary tight and in the right places/coverages -- gonna be interesting to see how well this year's secondary plays as a unit together.
  13. It doesn’t help that McLaren is so much faster than everyone else most weeks.
  14. 1) Nagy couldn’t be more clueless about the notion of “a cap” and he’s absolutely wishcasting. 2) That is some of the best shit ever. Hahahahahahaha. HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!
  15. It’s Reese Bennett, he doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt….
  16. Maybe she mistook him for a Klingon?
  17. I believe the above poster is making a joke about how that AI slop article referred to Flood as our WR coach
  18. If we are pre-season number 1 it will be hype like we have never seen before, mainly because we have never been pre-season number 1 before (I was kinda shocked by that).
  19. Special Teams and clock management (which go hand in hand). Team can't afford to fall asleep in "punt safe" situations and give up big first downs on a fake during an obvious fake situation. Had a critical punt block whiff and penalty to prolong a drive in the playoffs also. Play was made going balls out, so it's understandable, but the margin of victory gets tight against good clubs. Need to be able to trust a punter to flip the field. Most importantly IMO need to be able to trust that Shipley can get you three reliably from 48 or so in. Sark gets to call third down differently when he's calling it to get past the chains, rather than to get into 4th and makeable. Shipley's made a ton of kicks, but never in an environment like Columbus. You guys pointed out the obvious concerns re: time under tension for the OL and even Arch. For whatever reason, I just believe they'll be good enough this year. But this defense... This defense is set up to wreck shit and I'm really excited to see it. I try to be objective and not a prisoner of the moment, but this group should be markedly better than last year. If so, it'll be one of the great units in this era of CFB. In short, all the hype is justified for the team as a whole. National Championship level team. I want to call in every favor just to watch them work at practice - this camp will be legendary if they're wired correctly (which everyone says they are).
  20. Wout is the ultimate teammate and I fanboy him at a ridiculous level. So happy for him.
  21. Did law enforcement wait on the perimeter until the situation was diffused?
  22. Gotta love that the actual Heisman winner didnt even make the list
  23. There isn't any. There are some emails contemporeaneous with the election that "admit" that Russia did not interfere with election INFRASTRUCTURE, that is, voting machines. But everyone rational knows that it wasn't that kind of interference anyway. Oh, and the Steel Dossier was attached to some report with disclaimers that it shouldn't be relied upon. ETA scottsins covered it above.
