I mean, you are probably not super far off, but before times to me is 2016. Covid was much less traumatic than that.

They’re still doing it as Spectrum but only my with my Internet prices, and since Spectrum doesn’t give a fuck or throttle me even though I use multiple IPTV streams I use to get all the channels I want, we can both look the other way.
-
Fuck it at this point. I don’t give a shit how much it cost. I just want access without headaches.

CyFairISD had all 3 of the seats won by the woke, commie, liberal candidates, this flipping the Board to a 4-3 majority. They will have to make tough decisions and undo some things the last group did like displaying the 10 Commandments, supporting a Bible class in Public schools as a "history" course, banning evil books, defunding librarians on campus, reducing/eliminating bus routes and not supporting teachers to have more control in classrooms. Can't wait for the leftist Utopia that maintains secular education, builds up the libraries, and supports teachers. The right wing nutjobs on our neighborhood pages are all up in their feels right now, it's glorious.

He will get his 15 minutes on Fox News, then some Texas or Florida community will hire him as fire chief and brag about it being NYC's loss.

The biggest college sports news of the week happened in Ohio: awwww. Midweek MACtion did begin last night, with Ohio giving Miami of Ohio its first conference loss to win the Battle of the Bricks and take the complementary mug that goes with it: Let's get into the rest of the week: Wednesday Northern Illinois @ Toledo (-15) (7/6 ESPN2): This is usually a top-of-the-conference battle, but it's not this year. Jason Candle might be thinking it's time to translate his success in Toledo to a bigger job and become the next Matt Campbell. Meanwhile, Northern Illinois is taking the money and bouncing to the Mountain West next season - I know they're the Huskies, but that still feels incredibly silly. Kent State @ Ball State (-2.5) (7/6 ESPNU): Kent State finally doesn't completely suck, and might even make a bowl. No wonder they elevated their interim coach into the permanent job after going through this OOC slate: Thursday UTSA @ South Florida (-11) (7:30/6:30 ESPN): A major clash for the American title and the likely Playoff spot that comes with it. UTSA dried up the Tulane offense last weekend, but going to Tampa is a stiff challenge, especially with Traylor-to-Arkansas rumors running rampant. Georgia Southern @ Appalachian State (-14) (7:30/6:30 ESPN2): These teams are terrible. Might be one of the last chances to watch the Clay Helton, Head Football Coach experience. Friday Harvard @ Columbia (7/6 ESPN2): Harvard is better than quite a few Power 5 schools (Bill Connolly's metrics have them 10 points better than their Green Line friends at BC). Columbia is still hungover after winning their first Ivy title in 85 years. Enjoy the view of the Harlem meeting the Hudson while a sedate blowout occurs. Houston (-2) @ UCF (8/7 FS1): Speaking of schools with famously mediocre student sections - Houston! Can they claw back into rankings and Big XII contention at the Bounce House? Northwestern @ #19 USC (-15) (9/8 FOX): Well this is going to be another boring Big Ten blowout. Instead watch... Tulane @ Memphis (-6) (9/8 ESPN): Perhaps the most consequential game of the year for the G5 Playoff spot! Memphis' unbelievable loss at UAB is one of the weirdest results of the year, and the only thing holding the Tigers back from being a huge favorite for that spot. Saturday Early Games #7 BYU @ #8 Texas Tech (-10) (12/11 ABC): The game of the day is a Big XII nooner and somehow Fox screws the pooch on getting it for BNK. Lucky for BYU and freshman sensation Bear Bachmeier, an early kick should cut down on the noise and general drunken belligerence of the Tech crowd. #5 Georgia (-8) @ Mississippi State (12/11 ESPN): Kirby Smart teams have a well earned reputation for playing with their food against the SEC's bottom feeders. We know how consequential that can be in Starkville. #2 Indiana (-13) @ Penn State (12/11 FOX): I'll enjoy Curt Cignetti kicking the shit out of Pedo State with no regrets. Enjoyed watching the Hoosiers piss all over Maryland's Homecoming in person last week. Midafternoon #3 Texas A&M (-7) @ #22 Missouri (3:30/2:30 ABC): The last major roadblock between TAMU and showing up undefeated to Austin thanks to their schedule turning into cupcakes around them. #9 Oregon (-6) @ #20 Iowa (3:30/2:30 CBS): The committee correctly realized that Oregon hasn't actually beaten anyone worth a shit this year. That process begins in Iowa City, where Kirk Ferentz has discovered an offense while nobody was looking. #23 Washington (-12) @ Wisconsin (4:30/3:30 BTN): I don't know, it's a shallow slate. This could be a ranked upset, given Jedd Fisch's blatant flirting with Florida, if only Wisconsin could show even a glimmer of a pulse. Primetime Florida State @ Clemson (-2.5) (7/6 ACCN): The clear Sickos Game of the Week leads off the primetime slate thanks to an early kickoff. Yes, ha ha ha, yes. Navy @ #10 Notre Dame (-26) (7:30/6:30 NBC): This feels like a blowout where Irish fans crow about hammering a one-loss team who hasn't actually beaten anybody, and hoo boy does the line reflect that. LSU @ #4 Alabama (-11) (7:30/6:30 NBC): I've never seen a more obvious candidate for a new coach bounce than LSU, but Kalen DeBoer thrives in big games. RIP Pac-12 After Dark Nebraska @ UCLA (pick 'em) (9/8 FOX): Can Matt Rhule steady the ship after getting embarrassed by USC on Corn's big blackout night, or will UCLA's wild late-season resurgence continue? Sam Houston State @ Oregon State (10/9 CW): The most New-Pac-12 sadness matchup ever. Woof. Happy viewing everyone! Love some bye week hatewatch energy.

You telling me that the Kamala juice wasn’t real? And that the first chance at an off year non federal election cycle is the real shit we should weight? Again, this board has a very very poor track record when it comes to reality and certainly when it comes to reality based casual inference.

We shall see what it actually looks like tomorrow morning.

For a long time, men didn't even try to hide it. Then times changed, and men started seeing consequences. Not enough and not often enough, but that positive change has been met with whining and resentment particularly but not exclusively from conservative groups. I suppose the next step is for consequences to be stronger, swifter, and unavoidable. And the next step after that is for our minds to not even go to those certain places. That's probably what all the microplastics are for, and it's why all the Gen Z and Gen Alpha don't care about sex anymore.

If it doesn't get done by Thanksgiving, Mike Johnson should just seppuku himself. Although that requires the ability to feel shame. -
No kidding. We all know he's gonna wind up buying the tree and wearing the "pajamas." Here's your giant can.

not going to look it up, you can research and counter if you wish, but that caveat was meant/intended to account for a loss that had *already* *occurred* due to a key player being out injured it was never intended, and i do not think the language stated, that the caveat in question allowed the committee to discount a ranking based on losses that were *going* *to* occur as ctj posted, nolenation thinks of 2023 the way we think of teaff, 08 lubbock, 08 switzer, 15 oSu, etc.

She probably should have told Amanda then instead of Anna.

Awesome, I'm in. But, just no be clear, you're not trying to conflate last year's incredibly nervous excitement based on polls and vibes to our positivity about yesterday's real-world ass kicking (however small the scope) are you? Because that would be really dumb. And I know you're not dumb.

Keys didn’t shake hands or hug/fake kiss Anisimova after they played because she was sick. She told Anna that at the net. So something is going around, Madison has caught it, she’s also be eliminated from advancing, so she smartly has withdrawn. Same with the cute little Italian.
