  3. The Bears have to drive to Dallas to go the Cheesecake Factory. I’m told there’s also one of those in Lubbock. They just don’t put Cheesecake Factories anywhere.
  4. sperm whale petunias?
  5. It’s a bad call but let’s not get carried away. (but yes there is no excuse not to have ABS in the big leagues) 4” off the plate was that chick’s first pitch call on Sunday:
  6. as far as the paper goes I’ve never been a domhnall gleeson fan. can’t act for shit. his pop is all-time brilliant though.
  7. Yell leaders aren't nearly that cool.
  8. office remake has been done. I've actually watched some of it. I’m not terribly familiar with India but the dialogue is about half-English and half-Hindi. It’s unsettling.
  9. Ohtani just got caught looking at strike 3 that was 4” off the plate. We need auto strikes and balls now.
  10. Marlow Austin confirmed tonight. Tickets tomorrow.
  11. Dumb episode overall, but thank jesus she’s gone.
  12. Admiral Bull Halsey knew a hell of a lot more about naval warfare than I do, but I trust the fictitious Ramius’ opinion that he acted stupidly. I generally agree with you about trusting Sark but this being the internet, second guessing experts is what we do. Just shut down this site if we cant share opinions and argue about coaching because we are dumber than coaches. I trusted Muschamp and wanted him as our coach. But he had meathead tendencies of protecting his defense with a conservative offense. He still knew more than any of us. I do suspect Sark made the decision to keep Quinn in there because he was more predictable and Sark could manage the game and scheme guys open for big plays. And Sark knew he needed two engaged QBs on the roster for such a long season. If that was the decision-making, I’m not sure that was a sound one.
  13. One last thing - between the final whistle and the PKs, the studio crew was discussing this vs last year's team and how Spurs couldn't close out games and they were asking if this gave some vindication to Postecoglou. To me - NO. Spurs couldn't close out last year because they were run ragged by a lack of a cohesive plan and fell apart often at the end of games due to that lack of planning. One big problem was that they didn't defend well for most games. Today we saw a very disciplined team against maybe the best team in the world. For 80 minutes the team had a clear shape, structure and mindset. PSG came alive late and turned up the pressure when the team was tired - but they were stymied up to that point. IMHO if this team was Postecoglou coached, they don't have that early lead and maybe are trailing early. The clear gameplan by Frank had this team ready for this game and set up to take advantage early. Again, the moral victory blows, but this showed that Spurs have a plan that didn't exist before.
  14. Nobody: Iranian general:
  15. Sounds fun, depends on the venue, also a 70% chance she won’t feel well and want to do something low key. Apparently growing a human inside you makes you kind of tired I guess. But we’ve been itching for an excuse to weekend up in Austin. Miss the greenbelt
  16. All that work magalitia did to beguile and bamboozle Latinos is about to be for naught:
  17. This thing blew up since last year. I don’t remember any wait last year. I was on the site at 4pm and like 900th in line. lowers were priced at $300 before it opened and it was $570 when it was my turn at 5pm. It’s up to $700 now.
  18. I don't need you to go full um.. Ewers thread on receipts.. but I guess I'm missing all these Surly posters that think aggie is gonna break the fucking 8-5 ceiling this year. I'm sure there are one or two regards here that think it and of course the mediots have bought in for unfathomable reasons once again. Just not seeing many posters here that buy the cult propaganda like the media.
  19. Okay, the Foot Blocker sign was pretty funny.
  20. Thought we were going to see a reenactment of this:
