Depends on the level of the discernment, because fascism is that just on an extreme level.

Nice route, Randy. Again.

I have a quick trip to one of our offices in Naperville, but I should be able to get away for one night close to the city before I head out of Midway. I would love to stay somewhere on the affordable side that is easy to get to the airport and close to a cool area downtown to eat and walk around and find a dispensary. I'll probably be back again within a year or two, but this is my first time. I will try and make a late boat tour, but that might need to wait until next trip. Any recs on a hotel or neighborhood that would give me a taste of the city and a quick trip to the airport the next morning?

What are the odds even this SCOTUS rules against him on this? They clearly don't care how bad they look right now trying to provoke a civil war and I'd hope that makes such a play a lot weaker, but fuck am I getting a nauseous feeling over marines being deployed across all major cities.

But it will be exciting to see him run around behind the line of scrimmage for 15-20 yards.

2021 - Is inflation finally back in the conversation?
Hefeweizen replied to Reagan1k's topic in Business and Markets
Yes. If it’s a monopoly or close to it with cartel like control it makes it easy to maximize. -
Man, I had completely forgotten that Urban Meyer coached the Jaguars for a hot minute before trying to figure out what you were referring to. This is going to be so much worse, and no one will ever forget.

Government Shutdown 2025: This Time It’s Personal

They have the votes but they win on chaos, fear, and hate. They have no incentive, not yet at least, to do anything substantive. Unfortunately, it's to the point that Dems have to play the same game or they'll never win anything. They have to show they can win on the same playbook the Rs use. And we're all fucked until they do. Might be fucked after, too... -
It's our nature to think things are always bad, especially as we age, but actually, the world is in pretty good shape right now. There is a much higher percentage of people marked as middle class around the world than ever before, and that's astounding considering how many more people there are today. There are a higher percentage of democracies in the world today than ever before and lots of them are doing well. Wars are contained to hot spots. That's actually pretty good by the normal horrible standards of mankind. Our economy is, relatively speaking, pretty good. It's much better than the '70's when all the cities went broke. It's better than the .com bust of the 2000's. And it's way better than 2009-2011 and unlike much of the world, we had a very strong rebound after 2020. Look at all the investment in the cities. New York looks like a palace compared to when I moved there in 1982. And for having so many people struggling with inflation, those same people sure do buy a lot of stuff, travel, snd buy bigger houses than anyone in the '70s thought was possible. etc.

And I agree they have opened themselves up to more criticism by becoming professional athletes but lowered expectations maybe better for a Longhorn fan’s mental health. -

flow chart please? -
Do you know who storms out of business negotiations to create a sense of urgency? Morons with bad negotiating skills. I do tend to agree that this will all amount to nothing, but mostly because most Americans don't give a shit one way or the other. He's not going to do anything if he thinks no one will pay attention.

Government Shutdown 2025: This Time It’s Personal
Hermanator replied to Bozo_Casanova's topic in Cloak Room
They didn't. Schumer bailed out trump when most of us were saying let them own the shutdown. Democrats need to up their messaging game. Hire whomever Newsome hired to troll trump. Get out all the comedy based propaganda making the republicans look like the evil, pure shit garbage they are. Mock them. Make fun of them for being too stupid to run a Burger King, much less a country. The republicans are hanging themselves with this, but the democrats need to up the messaging. It would be easy to turn this, but unfortunately that would require the democrats actuality speaking out against Israel and the billionaires that bribe them too. Maga is splintering with a portion blaming Israel and Kirk's gold digging whore wife for setting up his murder. Go with that, and put out a ton of conspiracy propaganda linking trump, kirk's wife, Vance, and Israel to kirk's murder.
